Revenue Manager - Entry Level 

Remote – United States

About the Role: We are looking for an Entry-Level Revenue Manager to join our hotel team and grow into a key revenue-management role supporting a multi-property hotel portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has hotel/hospitality experience and wants to build a career in Revenue Management. You do not need years of Revenue Management experience. We are looking for someone who understands hotel operations, is analytical, organized, curious and ready to learn how pricing, inventory and demand management directly impact hotel performance. You will receive hands-on training and guidance while learning the day-to-day responsibilities of hotel Revenue Management.

What You’ll Do

Daily Revenue Management

  • Monitor daily occupancy, pickup, ADR and RevPAR.
  • Review hotel pricing and identify opportunities for rate adjustments.
  • Monitor room inventory and availability.
  • Assist with daily inventory balancing and management.
  • Monitor OOO rooms and their impact on available inventory.
  • Review upcoming high-demand and need dates.
  • Monitor competitive hotel pricing and market conditions.
  • Identify opportunities to increase occupancy and/or ADR.
  • Assist with monitoring third-party channels and rate integrity.

Revenue Strategy

  • Participate in weekly revenue strategy calls with GMs, AGMs and Sales leaders.
  • Help prepare information for strategy discussions.
  • Review current-week and forward-looking demand.
  • Assist with recommendations for pricing, inventory and restrictions.
  • Document decisions and action items.
  • Send clear meeting recaps and follow up on assigned items.
  • Learn how to translate revenue data into actionable recommendations.

Sales & Group Support

  • Partner with Sales teams on group pricing and inventory.
  • Review group blocks, pickup and future inventory.
  • Assist with 30/60/90-day group-holding reviews.
  • Learn how group decisions affect hotel revenue and displacement.
  • Support Sales with revenue-related questions and recommendations.

Systems & Training

  • Learn hotel revenue-management systems and tools.
  • Learn rate loading and revenue-related system functions.
  • Learn how to activate and manage accounts on property.
  • Learn forecasting and competitive-set analysis.
  • Learn to use STR and other market-performance information.
  • Build a strong understanding of hotel pricing and yielding.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership.
  • Must be located in the United States.

Preferred:

  • Previous exposure to hotel Sales, Front Office, Operations or Reservations.
  • Hilton, Marriott and/or IHG experience.
  • Previous exposure to hotel Revenue Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance or a related field.

  • Build the skills necessary to advance within Revenue Management.

  • Remote – United States
  • Candidates must reside in the United States.
  • International candidates will not be considered.
  • Hospitality experience is required. Candidates with no hotel/hospitality experience will not be considered.
