AI Summary

The coordinator identifies and researches accessible vacation options for clients with specific mobility, medical, or sensory needs. They communicate these options to clients, document requests, and assist with logistical arrangements like airport or resort assistance.

We are seeking patient, resourceful individuals to help travelers identify and coordinate vacation options that account for mobility concerns, dietary preferences, sensory needs, medical equipment, limited walking tolerance, room-location requests, and other personal considerations.

This role does not provide medical advice or guarantee that every request can be accommodated. Instead, the coordinator gathers accurate information, communicates requests to the appropriate supplier, and helps clients make informed choices.

What You Will Handle

A client may need a wheelchair-accessible cruise cabin, a resort with elevators, airport assistance, refrigerated medication storage, allergy-conscious dining, or a room located near central amenities. Another traveler may simply need a slower itinerary with fewer hotel changes and realistic rest periods.

Your responsibility is to identify these needs early and research appropriate options before the client commits to a reservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed client consultations about vacation needs and limitations.
  • Research accessibility features offered by hotels, resorts, cruise lines, transportation providers, and attractions.
  • Contact suppliers to verify available accommodations and request procedures.
  • Document special requests clearly and accurately.
  • Help clients compare options based on convenience, accessibility, location, and comfort.
  • Prepare itineraries with realistic transportation and activity schedules.
  • Assist with requesting airport, cruise-terminal, or resort assistance.
  • Verify room types, cabin locations, bedding arrangements, and property layouts.
  • Communicate supplier responses and limitations honestly to clients.
  • Maintain confidential client information and organized documentation.
  • Provide reminders concerning forms, equipment, identification, and supplier deadlines.
  • Continue learning about accessible and inclusive vacation planning.

Job Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Applicants must reside in the United States or Mexico.
  • Reliable internet access and a computer or compatible device are required.
  • Excellent listening and written communication skills are required.
  • Applicants must be patient, respectful, and comfortable discussing individual needs.
  • Strong research and verification skills are required.
  • Applicants must understand the importance of documenting requests without promising guaranteed accommodations.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail are required.
  • Applicants must be able to work independently and protect confidential information.
  • Experience in caregiving, healthcare administration, education, hospitality, customer service, or accessibility support is helpful but not required.

Training and professional resources are provided.
