Remote Project Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Project Specialists to support cross-functional initiatives within a large healthcare organization. This role will partner closely with leadership, operational teams, and various departments to oversee projects, coordinate deliverables, create process documentation, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to projects that have a meaningful organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage small to medium-sized projects or support phases of larger organizational initiatives
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure project goals and timelines are achieved
• Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables while providing regular status updates
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and project tracking tools
• Create, document, and refine standard work processes and operational procedures
• Support change management initiatives and help drive successful adoption of new processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure project alignment and execution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years of project management, business operations, or related experience
• Advanced Excel skills (required)
• Experience creating standard work, process documentation, and workflow materials
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• CAPM or PMP certification
• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience supporting cross-functional operational projects

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments. They should be confident managing project activities, creating clear documentation, and leveraging Excel to analyze and report on project data.

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
