Kentro is hiring for a remote Partner Engagement Lead to support our Veterans Affairs ESOM contract. The Partner Engagement Lead supports the Workforce Management Lead by leading partner engagement, subcontractor workforce coordination, partner staffing visibility, fulfillment tracking, partner communications, governance support, issue documentation, and partner-related workforce risk management across the ESOM program. This role serves as the day-to-day lead for partner/subcontractor workforce coordination and relationship management within the Workforce Management function. Contracts/Legal retains ownership of subcontractor contractual enforcement. This role coordinates with Contracts/Legal when partner/subcontractor issues require contractual review, formal communication, or enforcement action. The role works closely with the Workforce Management Lead, Intake Lead, Staffing & Workforce Operations Lead, PMO, Contracts/Legal, Accounting/Finance, program leadership, execution leads, and partner/subcontractor points of contact to support staffing fulfillment, partner accountability, workshare visibility, and delivery readiness. As the Workforce Management function grows, this role may oversee Partner Coordinators, Subcontractor Workforce Analysts, Partner Reporting Analysts, or other partner engagement support resources.

 

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Responsibilities

Partner Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Establish partner engagement processes for staffing updates, pipeline reviews, fulfillment tracking, action item management, issue documentation, and escalation.
  • Maintain partner/subcontractor trackers, staffing action registers, issue logs, commitment trackers, and escalation documentation.
  • Coordinate partner/subcontractor staffing pipeline updates, candidate submissions, resource status, onboarding status, clearance status, and projected start dates.
  • Track partner/subcontractor fulfillment against staffing needs, program priorities, labor category needs, transition requirements, and workshare expectations.

Partner Governance and Communications

  • Lead preparation and coordination for recurring partner governance meetings.
  • Prepare partner staffing summaries, fulfillment reports, issue logs, escalation notes, and action item summaries.
  • Document partner commitments, staffing risks, unresolved actions, resolution status, and recurring issues.
  • Coordinate partner/subcontractor communications in alignment with the Workforce Management Lead and Contracts/Legal.
  • Support partner accountability discussions using accurate staffing data, documented action history, and fulfillment trends.

Partner Staffing and Workforce Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Staffing & Workforce Operations Lead on partner/subcontractor candidate status, staffing actions, onboarding/clearance visibility, and approved labor category alignment.
  • Coordinate with PMO to monitor partner/subcontractor onboarding and clearance status.
  • Identify partner staffing delays, resource gaps, onboarding blockers, fulfillment issues, and recurring performance concerns.
  • Support timely follow-up with partner/subcontractor points of contact on documentation needs, staffing actions, candidate submissions, and status updates.
  • Support surge staffing, backfill coordination, transition planning, and partner/subcontractor resource readiness.

Intake, Workshare, and Delivery Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Intake Lead when intake requests may require partner/subcontractor staffing, partner delivery support, workshare consideration, or partner input.
  • Provide partner-related input on staffing feasibility, fulfillment capacity, workshare implications, and partner/subcontractor readiness.
  • Coordinate with PMO, Accounting/Finance, and Workforce Management Lead to provide partner-related staffing inputs that support workshare tracking and reporting.
  • Identify partner-related impacts to approved intake decisions, staffing timelines, delivery risk, or workshare alignment.
  • Support transition of approved partner-related work to execution teams.

Contract and Compliance Coordination Support

  • Coordinate with Contracts/Legal when partner/subcontractor issues require contractual review, formal communication, or enforcement action.
  • Support documentation of partner/subcontractor staffing commitments, fulfillment gaps, missed actions, and escalation history.
  • Maintain awareness of partner/subcontractor obligations, reporting expectations, labor category alignment, and partner commitments.
  • Escalate contractual, compliance, or performance concerns to the Workforce Management Lead and Contracts/Legal as appropriate.
  • Support auditability and traceability of partner communications, commitments, issues, and resolutions.

Risk Identification and Escalation

  • Track partner/subcontractor fulfillment rates, aging staffing actions, open positions, delayed resource onboarding, unresolved partner actions, and recurring risks.
  • Identify risks that may affect program staffing coverage, customer delivery, workshare alignment, or partner accountability.
  • Provide recurring updates to the Workforce Management Lead on partner/subcontractor staffing performance, open issues, and recommended escalations.
  • Recommend process improvements to improve partner coordination, fulfillment tracking, issue management, and partner governance.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Supply Chain, Contract Management, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience in partner engagement, subcontractor coordination, vendor management, staffing coordination, PMO support, program operations, contract support, or government contracting.
  • Experience coordinating with external partners, subcontractors, vendors, customers, PMO teams, Contracts, or cross-functional program teams.
  • Strong understanding of partner/subcontractor staffing, partner communications, workshare awareness, labor category alignment, and government contracting delivery environments.
  • Experience tracking commitments, staffing actions, risks, dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
  • Ability to manage sensitive partner, staffing, contract, and workforce information professionally.

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience supporting federal contracts, government programs, or partner/subcontractor-heavy delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with partner/subcontractor staffing pipelines, workshare commitments, labor categories, onboarding, clearance processes, partner governance, and subcontractor performance tracking.
  • Experience coordinating with Contracts/Legal on partner/subcontractor communications, issue documentation, or escalation packages.
  • Experience preparing partner status reports, issue logs, staffing summaries, action registers, or governance materials.
  • Experience supporting IDIQs, BPAs, task orders, SOWs, PWSs, or multi-partner delivery models.
  • PMP, ITIL Foundation, Contract Management, Supply Chain, or Vendor Management certification.

Clearance Requirement:

  • US Citizen or Green card holder
  • Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
