We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager (AKA: Business Development Manager) who is looking to take their career to the next level. This high-performing RSM will lead the business development efforts for IWS in the Western Region of the United States


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the sales and proposal process for all lines of business for water, wastewater and reuse projects
  • Manage named, national account relationships and develop new customer relationships
  • Develop new rep relationships for the municipal and industrial market
  • Gather project requirements through field visits and communicate with engineering to develop a conceptual design
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities with a heavy focus on new accounts in the region
  • Control the sales process and drive leads to closure to generate new revenues

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, other related field, or equivalent water treatment experience
  • 5+ years of experience in water treatment sales
  • Direct experience in selling to one of our key markets – residential development, food and beverage or municipal
  • Experience in consultative sales with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation with a proven ability to work across functional areas.
  • Skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and building rapport with clients and business partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%

Base Salary: $140k-$170k
