The Regional Sales Manager Greater Asia, Digital Pathology is responsible for leading, developing and executing the regional Digital Pathology and Computational Pathology commercial strategy. The role drives sustainable revenue growth, profitable market expansion and customer adoption of Leica Biosystems’ digital ecosystem through direct commercial leadership and the management of Digital Pathology Sales Specialists and Solution Architects. As a member of the Regional Digital Pathology leadership team, this position translates market insights and customer needs into clear growth priorities, sales tactics and measurable key performance indicators. The role leads complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities and partners across Commercial Development, Marketing, Service, Customer Success and Applications to accelerate the sales funnel, strengthen strategic accounts and deliver differentiated customer value.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Digital Pathology and is part of the global Digital Pathology Commercial organization, working remotely to cover the assigned region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Own and deliver the regional Digital Pathology and Computational Pathology growth plan, achieving or exceeding, quarterly and annual revenue, and market share by building executive-level relationships across healthcare systems, pathology networks and laboratories, engaging C-suite leaders, pathology leadership, laboratory administration, healthcare IT, procurement and contract stakeholders.
• Develop and execute market development and competitive displacement strategies that increase adoption of digital pathology scanners, image management, workflow solutions, artificial intelligence-enabled applications and computational pathology offerings.
• Serve as executive sponsor for priority opportunities and guide customer discovery, workflow assessment, solution design, value proposition development, business case creation, negotiation and implementation planning.
• Drive rigorous funnel management, monthly revenue forecasting and commercial standard work in Salesforce.com, including the Digital Pathology Implementation Plan process and actionable key performance indicators.
• Partner cross-functionally with Applications, Marketing, Commercial Development, Service and Customer Success to ensure solutions are clinically relevant, operationally viable and positioned to deliver customer value throughout the lifecycle.
• Translate market intelligence, competitive dynamics and customer insights into regional priorities, resource decisions and growth programmes that strengthen Leica Biosystems’ leadership in Digital and Computational Pathology.
• Recruit, onboard and retain high-performing commercial associates while fostering an inclusive, accountable and customer-focused culture grounded in the Danaher Business System. Lead, coach and develop Digital Pathology Sales Specialists and Solution Architects, setting clear expectations for professional conduct, commercial effectiveness, capability development and performance.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, healthcare, engineering or a related discipline with 5+ years of relevant sales experience, including a demonstrated record of delivering revenue growth and strategic account expansion in healthcare, diagnostics, medical technology, digital pathology, medical imaging, healthcare IT or a related life sciences market.
• Experience in capital equipment or complex solution sales involving clinical, operational, technical, procurement and executive decision-makers. Contract negotiation and high-level selling experience in a matrixed environment.
• Experience leading, coaching or managing commercial teams across the Greater Asia region a geographically dispersed region.
• Working knowledge of Digital Pathology ecosystems, including workflow digitization, image management systems, laboratory informatics, artificial intelligence-enabled diagnostics or Computational Pathology solutions is highly desirable.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and/or Korean is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or another customer relationship management platform and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel 50% to 75%, including overnight travel for regional coverage and company meetings.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Building senior relationships within major strategic accounts, including C-suite, laboratory administration, pathology, healthcare IT, purchasing, materials management and contract stakeholders
• Leading enterprise digital transformation, workflow change management or adoption programmes in pathology or laboratory environments.
• Commercializing artificial intelligence-enabled diagnostics, image analysis or Computational Pathology solutions.
