Job Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager – Foodservice Solutions, North Carolina, serves as KDP’s front-line commercial lead for regional on-premise customers across the assigned territory. This role owns customer relationship development, portfolio selling, and execution of business-building initiatives that expand KDP fountain and on-premise brand availability across foodservice and related accounts.


The RSM contributes to KDP’s volume, profit, and share growth by developing, selling, and executing customer plans across the KDP portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Regional Accounts East, this role requires a highly driven, organized, results-oriented sales leader with strong customer relationship skills and at least five years of consumer goods sales experience. Ideal candidates will have a proven record of sales success, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment, experience calling on owner/operators and C-suite decision makers, and the financial acumen to negotiate multi-year agreements that create mutually beneficial outcomes for KDP and its customers.

Location and Travel

This role is home-office based and can reside in Raleigh or Charlotte with approximately 30% travel across the assigned territory, including North Carolina and South Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Build and expand relationships with key decision makers and influencers at commercial foodservice accounts to increase KDP fountain and on-premise brand availability.
  • Prospect emerging foodservice accounts and develop new opportunities to sell the KDP portfolio across the assigned territory.
  • Identify and evaluate current and potential volume opportunities within the assigned market, ensure appropriate account coverage, and develop account action plans that support achievement of annual objectives.
  • Develop account-specific programs and marketing plans that drive volume, increase beverage incidence, and grow brand share with existing customers.
  • products and inspect execution of agreed-upon KDP initiatives with customer accounts.
  • Manage marketing budgets with regional chain customers, ensuring funds are aligned with strategies that grow total customer sales.
  • Participate in business planning sessions, marketing seminars, and trade shows to insulate existing business and develop volume-building opportunities.
  • Partner with KDP Customer Marketing resources towards the execution and activation of activities that support mutually developed/agreed annual business plans.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary range $96.800 - $129,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of CPG sales experience, including experience selling, negotiating, and managing top-level account coverage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Presentation skills proficiency
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable personal transportation
