You will drive partnerships with regional financial institutions, exchanges, and family offices, while representing Plume with regulators and industry bodies across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute Plume's regional GTM strategy across priority MENA markets (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar), guided by regulatory maturity and institutional demand.
- Source and close partnerships with regional banks, asset managers, exchanges, and sovereign-adjacent investment vehicles.
- Engage with regional regulators (e.g., ADGM, DFSA, CBB, CMA) and industry associations to support compliant market entry and expansion.
- Represent Plume at regional conferences and in media/analyst conversations as the primary regional spokesperson.
- Partner with global Legal and Compliance to structure partnerships appropriately for regional regulatory regimes.
- Build relationships with local family offices, VCs, and institutional allocators exploring tokenized asset exposure.
- Report on regional pipeline, partnerships, and adoption metrics to global leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development or institutional partnerships experience in MENA financial services, fintech, or crypto.
- Fluent Arabic and English; deep familiarity with the regulatory and cultural landscape across GCC markets in particular.
- Existing network across regional banks, exchanges, family offices, or regulators.
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and ability to translate them credibly for traditional institutional counterparties.
- Comfortable operating independently in a nascent regional market with significant ownership.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience with a crypto exchange, fintech, or asset manager operating under ADGM, DFSA, or similar regional frameworks.
- Existing relationships with sovereign wealth funds, family offices, or regional institutional allocators.
- Experience navigating Islamic finance considerations relevant to structuring tokenized products for the region.
