Role Summary

As Poultry & Controls Territory Sales Manager, you will drive revenue and margin growth for VAL-CO's control product lines across domestic swine and poultry markets. This role exists to expand customer adoption through consultative selling, strong technical communication, and disciplined sales execution. This position is remote (#LI-REMOTE) and requires travel within the territory (Upper Midwest or Canada).

Key responsibilities include field and remote prospecting; delivering live and virtual product demonstrations; partnering with Technical Support to build customer-facing training content; coordinating with Marketing on new-product launch plans; relaying market feedback to Product Management; managing opportunities end-to-end (pre-sale through post-sale follow-up); and contributing to operating and sales goals for assigned products.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or Engineering
- 5+ years in agricultural systems and/or precision ag equipment sales preferred
- Knowledge of ag business structures or live production; poultry ventilation knowledge is a plus
- Dealer-channel selling experience strongly preferred
- Strong presentation, writing, and CRM/PC skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to travel extensively in the U.S. and occasionally internationally
