In your day-to-day, you will:
Manage a portfolio of podcast clients and sponsors, acting as their primary day-to-day point of contact.
Build strong, professional relationships with clients and maintain regular communication to ensure they are happy with the service.
Coordinate podcast production timelines and ensure deliverables are completed and ready for scheduled publishing dates.
Liaise with internal production, editing and social media teams to communicate client requirements and ensure commitments are delivered.
Track project milestones, deadlines and deliverables, proactively identifying and addressing any potential delays or risks.
Coordinate client requests, including artwork, thumbnails, raw files, social media assets and other production requirements.
Work backwards from launch and publishing dates to identify required deliverables and ensure everything is received and completed on time.
Prepare regular client updates and check-ins, bringing relevant podcast and social media performance metrics to discussions.
Gather performance data from platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts and social media channels and present the information clearly to clients.
Help clients understand performance results and provide context around changes in engagement, listens, views and other relevant metrics.
Manage client feedback and expectations, particularly where creative recommendations from the production team differ from the client's preferences.
Work with internal teams to gather supporting information or examples when needed to help communicate creative recommendations to clients.
Prepare meeting notes, action items and follow-ups to ensure agreed actions are completed.
Maintain accurate client information, project documentation and tracking records.
Continuously look for ways to improve the client experience, communication processes and internal workflows.
Skills you have:
At least 5 years of experience Client Success, Account Management, Customer Success, Project Management or a similar client-facing role.
Excellent relationship-building skills and a highly personable approach.
Experience managing multiple clients, stakeholders and concurrent projects.
Strong follow-up skills and the ability to proactively track deadlines, deliverables and outstanding actions.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting templates and basic performance metrics.
Able to communicate numbers and performance results clearly, even when the data shows a decline or unexpected outcome.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle differing opinions or challenging client conversations professionally.
Proactive, resourceful and capable of working independently after an initial onboarding period.
Strong ability to identify when timelines are slipping and proactively communicate or escalate issues.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient using tools such as Google Spreadsheets, Slack and other digital collaboration platforms.
Skills that will make you stand out:
Previous experience working with podcasts, podcast production, media, digital marketing, content production or an agency.
Experience managing podcast clients, sponsors or content creators.
Familiarity with podcast platforms such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Understanding of podcast performance metrics, social media engagement and audience behaviour.
