Manage end-to-end performance marketing strategy and campaign execution across multiple digital channels to drive B2B and e-commerce growth. Optimize ad performance through rigorous data analysis, landing page testing, and effective budget allocation.

The Opportunity

Lab Alley is looking for a high-energy, data-obsessed Performance Marketer to accelerate our growth and optimize our digital customer acquisition channels for our "Essential Chemicals" portfolio. In this role, you will design, execute, and scale high-impact paid marketing campaigns-spanning search, shopping, social, and display-to drive high-intent B2B and e-commerce traffic with max ROI. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where creative messaging meets rigorous analytical testing, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities: What You'll Do

  • Paid Acquisition Leadership: Manage end-to-end performance marketing strategy and campaign execution across channels such as Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), Bing Ads, Paid Social (LinkedIn, Meta), and industry networks.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Continually test and refine ad copy, bidding strategies, audiences, landing pages, and creative assets to lower CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and improve ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
  • Campaign Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (e.g., CPA, CVR, CTR, LTV) and deliver clear, actionable reports and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Landing Page & Conversion Optimization: Partner with web and design teams to build and test high-converting landing pages tailored to targeted search intent and specific chemical categories.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and allocate substantial advertising budgets across channels, forecasting spend and driving consistent, scalable growth aligned with company revenue goals.
  • Audience & Technical Targeting: Utilize customer segmentation, custom audiences, retargeting tactics, and conversion tracking protocols (Google Tag Manager, pixels, GA4) to ensure precise audience reach.
  • Policy Compliance & Account Health: Proactively monitor and resolve Google Ads and Google Merchant Center policy violations, product issue diagnostics, feed optimization, and item disapprovals (e.g., restricted substances, pricing discrepancies) to avoid account suspensions and ensure continuous campaign performance.

Qualifications & Expertise: What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid search, or growth marketing, preferably in B2B e-commerce, chemical, manufacturing, or technical product industries.
  • Platform Mastery: Deep operational knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Meta Ads Manager, along with advanced analytics platforms (GA4, Looker Studio).
  • Technical Savvy: Hands-on experience with web analytics, tag management (GTM), conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools, and integrating tracking with ERPs or CRM platforms (e.g., NetSuite, HubSpot).
  • Analytical Mindset: Expert-level quantitative and analytical skills with a proven ability to derive insights from complex datasets and translate them into actionable growth campaigns.
  • Creative & Technical Balance: Strong writing ability for ad copy paired with a solid grasp of technical marketing setups (feed management, conversion APIs, schema).
  • Policy & E-commerce Familiarity: Strong understanding of Google Shopping policies, product feed requirements, and campaign compliance within regulated or technical product categories.
  • Collaboration & Drive: Self-motivated mindset with excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across creative, sales, and technical teams.
