Career Opportunity
The People Partner helps strengthen Cariloop's ability to deliver on its strategy by leading the implementation and continuous improvement of the programs, processes, and initiatives that support our leaders, employees, and organization. Working in close partnership with the Chief People Officer, this role translates People strategy into action through thoughtful planning, sound judgment, and consistent execution.
The People Partner develops a deep understanding of the business and builds trusted relationships across the organization to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve organizational effectiveness. They connect insights across talent acquisition, engagement, performance, leadership development, culture, and employee experience to develop thoughtful recommendations, determine an appropriate path forward, and independently lead work to completion.
This role combines strategic thinking with a high degree of ownership. The People Partner is expected to operate with a high level of independence, taking ownership for planning, organizing, and advancing work while maintaining close partnership with the Chief People Officer. They exercise sound judgment, determine an appropriate path forward, and independently lead work from planning through implementation while keeping the Chief People Officer informed, aligned, and equipped to make key organizational decisions.

Build trusted relationships with leaders and employees to develop a deep understanding of business priorities, organizational needs, and team dynamics.
Stay closely connected to the business to identify opportunities, emerging risks, and areas where People programs can better support organizational success.
Connect information across teams, functions, and People programs to identify meaningful patterns and opportunities for improvement.
Partner with the Chief People Officer to determine priorities and independently advance work while elevating decisions requiring executive judgment.
Lead full-cycle recruiting from workforce planning through offer acceptance.
Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, align on role requirements, and deliver an exceptional hiring experience.
Coordinate sourcing, interviewing, candidate communication, offer development, and onboarding.
Coach hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process.
Manage recruiting operations, recruiting communications, and employer branding initiatives that strengthen Cariloop's ability to attract exceptional talent.
Monitor recruiting metrics and continuously improve hiring processes and the candidate experience.
Lead the execution of Cariloop's performance management processes and annual talent calendar.
Prepare materials for talent reviews, calibration discussions, succession planning, workforce planning, and promotion planning.
Analyze organizational performance and talent trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Partner with leaders to strengthen performance conversations, career development, employee development, and talent decisions.
Lead the execution of Cariloop's engagement survey process and other organizational feedback initiatives.
Analyze organizational data to identify strengths, opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks.
Prepare executive presentations, organizational readouts, leader reports, and supporting materials.
Facilitate leader action planning and monitor progress throughout the year.
Track organizational commitments, measure progress, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Develop leadership and employee development programs aligned to organizational priorities established by the Chief People Officer.
Build facilitator guides, presentations, learning materials, tools, and resources.
Facilitate development programs and workshops.
Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve learning experiences.
Support organizational change initiatives by developing implementation plans, communication materials, and leader resources.
Lead initiatives that strengthen Cariloop's culture, employee experience, and connection to our mission and values.
Develop internal communications and employee programs that improve organizational alignment.
Lead Cariloop's Certified B Corporation and Public Benefit Corporation initiatives and reporting requirements.
Identify opportunities to strengthen the employee experience and improve how the organization operates.
Develop a deep understanding of the business and build trusted relationships across the organization.
Exercise sound judgment by identifying opportunities, developing recommendations, determining an appropriate path forward, and independently leading work with a high degree of ownership.
Connect information across talent acquisition, engagement, performance, leadership development, culture, and employee experience to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
Translate strategy into thoughtful implementation plans and consistently deliver high-quality work.
Communicate proactively with the Chief People Officer by sharing progress, recommendations, organizational insights, and emerging risks while aligning on strategic priorities and key decisions.
Continuously improve the programs, processes, and experiences they own by measuring results, learning from feedback, and identifying opportunities to strengthen how Cariloop operates.
5-7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience across talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, culture, and employee experience.
Demonstrated experience leading recruiting, engagement, performance, leadership development, and other People initiatives from planning through execution.
Experience partnering with leaders to solve organizational and talent challenges.
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect People practices to business priorities and organizational outcomes.
Excellent analytical, facilitation, project management, written communication, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, develop thoughtful recommendations, and independently lead work with a high degree of ownership.
Experience supporting organizational change and implementing People initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
This position is performed primarily on a remote basis; however, the employee may be required to travel occasionally to fulfill business needs. Such travel may include, but is not limited to, on-site meetings, company retreats, training sessions, or other business-related events. The frequency and duration of travel will vary based on operational needs, and the employee will be provided reasonable notice whenever possible.
The ability to travel as needed is a condition of employment, and all travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the company’s travel and expense policy.
