AI Summary

You will build and manage a partnership pipeline across charities and businesses to promote Bare Wills. This involves pitching, closing agreements, and collaborating with product and marketing teams to optimize the partner experience.

Who is Bare

Bare is Australia's most highly rated end of life business - supporting Australian families through the hardest time in their life.

We are a company dedicated to providing accessible, affordable end-of-life care to change the way that Australians deal with death. Our aim is to change the game in the funeral industry which has long provided expensive, traditional, cookie cutter services that don't always meet the needs of the modern Australian.

By combining empathy with technology, we're creating end-of-life experiences that are simple, personalised and affordable. In only seven years, we've served more than 50,000 families, have become Australia's most awarded end-of-life provider (with awards in customer service, innovation and digital disruption), and have built a team of more than 200 people committed to changing the way Australians deal with end-of-life. And we're just getting started.

The Opportunity

Every charity knows gifts in wills are one of its most important sources of future income, and that the hardest part is getting supporters to write a will in the first place. Bare Wills makes that hard part easier.

We're hiring our first Partnerships Manager to take Bare Wills to charities and businesses. The model is an in-kind exchange: partners give their supporters, clients or staff free access to Bare Wills, and Bare earns a trusted place in front of their community. Charities get more wills written and more gifts pledged. Businesses get a meaningful benefit to offer. More Australians get their affairs in order.

You'll build this channel from the ground up: who we target, how we pitch, what each partnership includes and how we measure it. You'll also help shape how Bare Wills evolves, so the product keeps getting better for charities, businesses and the people they serve. If you've worked in fundraising and wondered what you could do with a product that makes the will conversation easier, this is that role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build the partner pipeline across charities (national and state-based, across health, animal welfare, environment, faith and community) and businesses (employers, super funds, financial advisers, member organisations).

  • Pitch and close partnerships for Bare Wills, from first conversation through to signed agreement.

  • Shape the value exchange. Decide what each partnership includes on both sides, such as co-branded will pages, supporter email and newsletter features, event presence and reporting, and package it into clear partnership tiers.

  • Launch partners well. Work with our marketing team on co-branded landing pages, comms kits and tracking so each partner goes live quickly and promotes it properly.

  • Grow every account. Run regular partner reviews on wills started and completed, gifts pledged and engagement, and find ways to do more together.

  • Evolve the product. Be the voice of our partners in Bare Wills product decisions. Bring back what charities, businesses and their supporters need, such as partner reporting, co-branding options and features that make it easy to leave a gift in a will. Help the product team prioritise it, and test new features with partners before launch.

  • Write the playbook. Own the pitch deck, case studies, pricing and partnership terms, and keep the pipeline clean in HubSpot.

  • Be Bare's voice in the fundraising sector at events, conferences and sector networks, and bring what you hear back to our product and marketing teams.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 3+ years working in or with the charity sector, ideally in gifts in wills (bequests), corporate partnerships or major gifts.

  • A track record of opening doors and signing partnerships or deals, with examples you can talk us through.

  • You understand how charities make decisions: who signs off, what fundraising teams are measured on, and how supporter trust is protected.

  • Comfortable and warm talking about wills, death and legacy, with partners and their supporters.

  • Strong presenter and writer who can turn a pitch into a proposal and a proposal into a signed agreement.

  • Product-minded. You listen for what partners and their supporters need, and can turn it into a clear brief for our product team.

  • Self-directed. You can build a pipeline from a blank page and work well remotely.

Ideal

  • You already use AI tools in your daily work to research, write and move faster.

  • An existing network of bequest and partnerships leads across Australian charities.

  • Experience selling to businesses, such as employee benefits, financial services or B2B sales with a target.

  • Working knowledge of wills and estate planning basics.

  • Experience using HubSpot or another CRM to run a pipeline.

  • Has launched a new program, product or channel inside an organisation.
