About the Client:

Our client is a leading property-tax services firm based in Chicago, IL, specializing in helping property owners secure property tax refunds and navigate tax appeals. To support their next phase of growth, they are expanding their outbound sales operations with dedicated representatives targeting the Greater Chicagoland area. The immediate priority is hiring an ambitious, resilient Outbound Sales Representative to drive their Property Tax Refunds division. 

About the Role:

As an Outbound Sales Representative, you will focus on reaching out to pre-qualified prospects to introduce property tax refund services and guide them through a two-step closing process (initial signature agreement followed by notarized documentation).

This is a dedicated outbound sales role—you will not be managing existing accounts, but executing high-volume cold calls and structured follow-ups. Product-specific, one-on-one training will be provided during onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily outbound sales calls using an in-house manual dialer (Twilio platform).
• Maintain daily call volume metrics of at least 65 dials per day (Estimated 1 hour and 45 minutes of talk time.)
• Pitch property tax refund services clearly, assertively, and persuasively while taking control of the call.
• Execute a two-step intake and closing process:
  • Secure the initial signed client agreement electronically.
  • Follow up consistently to assist and drive clients through obtaining third-party/online notarized closing paperwork.
• Achieve monthly targets of 20 completed (notarized) deals per month (~5 per week).
• Communicate internally via Microsoft Teams and manage internal/external correspondence using Microsoft Outlook and online Excel

Qualifications & Skills

• Sales Experience: Proven track record in outbound cold-calling, lead generation, or telemarketing.
• Resilience & Control: High assertiveness ("thick skin") with strong objection-handling skills, comfortable navigating prospective clients through confidential service offerings.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Near-native or native English fluency.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required (to engage the region's strong Spanish-speaking market).
• Technical & Software Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, online Excel).
  • Familiarity with web-based CRMs, dialers, and e-signature platforms.
• Hardware & Technical Requirements:
  • Personal computer/laptop with high-speed internet (fiber optic preferred) and a reliable power/hotspot backup plan.
  • USB noise-canceling headset and webcam.
  • Screen setup: Minimum 23-inch monitor required (dual-monitor setup strongly preferred).
