Operations Specialist - Maintenance

We are in search of a Operations Specialist - Maintenance to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in running and improving the maintenance operations of our locker network across Iberia — making sure every locker in Spain and Portugal is back in service fast, inside the SLAs we commit to our clients, and that the team and partners behind it keep getting better every week..

What you’ll be doing:

• Take ownership of the end-to-end maintenance operations process in Iberia — from ticket to closed intervention — and ensure the day-to-day operations of the maintenance organisation run correctly and inside SLA;

• Manage a team of field technicians and support them in their day-to-day operations: priorities, blockers, quality of execution and their development;

• Work in daily alignment with your Iberia maintenance colleagues — the Planner and the Senior Technician — so that planning, execution and follow-up move as one team;

• Analyse the operational data every week and prepare the reports for clients and internal stakeholders on how the operation is evolving (SLA, backlog, unsuccessful interventions, repeat issues);

• Coordinate our maintenance partners and measure their performance: quality, response times and cost per intervention;

• Handle escalations coming from the client side: own the response, coordinate the fix and close the loop with the client;

• Liaise with central departments on improvement projects and on the daily needs of the maintenance operation;

• Support the Country Manager on the financial performance of the maintenance operations, to ensure a financially sustainable operation;

• Work with other departments (Deployment, Supply Chain, Customer Success) whenever the maintenance operation needs it.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Between 3 and 5 years of experience in operations that require field work, ideally managing maintenance operations and field teams;

• Experience working in SLA-driven operations, with very short deadlines to execute interventions and the discipline to plan around them;

• Great Excel skills and excellent analytical skills, required to perform all data analysis and reporting tasks;

• Great communication skills, with experience dealing with clients and managing escalations;

• Good communication skills in Spanish and English;

• A can-do attitude and not afraid to roll up your sleeves behind the desk or in the field;

• Polyvalent and able to switch among desk work, field work and client-facing work.

It would be great if you would also have:

• Familiarity with AI tools to improve and automate daily operations;

• A third language, such as Italian or Portuguese;

• Previous work experience in a start-up or scale-up environment.
