Ecore is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Associate – Premier Materials to support the continued expansion of our recycled rubber materials business. This role focuses on selling and developing markets for rubber processing materials, EPDM granules, colored EPDM, polyurethane binders, and related products across the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment where creativity, relationship building, and business development are key to success. You'll work closely with industry leaders while identifying new opportunities, expanding existing markets, and helping customers find innovative solutions.

Territory: Nationwide
Travel: 50–60% (especially during onboarding and relationship-building phases)
Compensation: Base salary starting at $85,000+ based on experience, plus commission and incentive opportunities.


What You'll Do

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across multiple industries and emerging markets.
  • Expand sales of rubber processing materials, EPDM granules, colored EPDM products, and polyurethane binders.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline while creating long-term customer relationships.
  • Develop creative strategies for finding new applications and markets for existing products.

Account Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, installers, and end users.
  • Support existing accounts while growing overall revenue and market share.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Market Development

  • Educate customers on product capabilities and value propositions.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and provide recommendations for growth.
  • Develop relationships across playground surfacing, sports and recreation surfaces, and other rubber-related markets.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop customer-focused solutions.

Industry Engagement

  • Represent Ecore at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, competitive activity, and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, logistics, and customer experience teams to support growth initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience within materials, manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, construction products, or related industries.
  • Strong business development mindset with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and generate new opportunities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of customers and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50–60% nationwide. Will reduce to as need over time
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling:
    • Rubber granules
    • Colored EPDM products
    • Polyurethane binders
    • Playground or recreational surfacing materials
    • Athletic track or sports surfacing products
  • Experience within the tire recycling, rubber processing, or related industries.
  • Success identifying new end markets for existing products.
  • Salesforce CRM experience.
