About the Role
The National Account Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of national events, trade shows, and venue-based sales programs. This role partners closely with clients to coordinate event logistics, timelines, setup and breakdown requirements, and key program details while ensuring the independent field sales network has clear information and expectations for successful execution.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple event workstreams while serving as a key point of contact between clients, internal teams, venues, and the independent field sales network.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to coordinate event and tradeshow logistics, timelines, venue requirements, and execution details
- Manage event preparation from planning through setup, on-site execution, and breakdown
- Coordinate materials, equipment, signage, schedules, and other logistical requirements for assigned events
- Communicate event details, expectations, schedules, and updates to the independent field sales network
- Ensure all parties have the information and resources needed prior to each event
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal partners throughout event planning and execution
- Identify potential logistical issues and coordinate solutions before they impact execution
- Support on-site event execution as needed, including setup, troubleshooting, and breakdown
- Maintain event calendars, timelines, checklists, and follow-up documentation
- Provide regular updates to clients and leadership on event readiness, execution, and follow-up items
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure event initiatives align with client expectations and campaign goal
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, field marketing, sales management, or a related role
- 2+ years of leadership or account ownership experience
- Experience supporting sales or marketing programs across multiple markets
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing performance data and reporting
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel
- Ability to travel 60%+ for field visits, events, client launches, and campaign support
- Availability to support evening and weekend events as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting experiential marketing, brand ambassador, or event-based sales programs
- Sales experience in retail, telecommunications, wireless, consumer products, or related industries
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform
- Experience coordinating tradeshows, experiential activations, venue-based programs, or multi-market events, including setup, breakdown, logistics, and client coordination
