Marketing Manager - Airtower Networks

We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented Marketing Manager to help shape and drive our demand generation strategy. This role offers the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of top-of-funnel marketing initiatives—from events and content development to webinars, lead management, and SEM optimization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketer who is comfortable turning ideas into action, building programs from the ground up, and driving initiatives through to measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Thought Leadership: Develop and manage a steady pipeline of publishable content that strengthens XX’s position as a leader in the in-building wireless connectivity space.
- Whitepapers & One-Pagers: Create clear, compelling marketing collateral—including educational pieces such as “Why Cellular is Superior to Wi-Fi”—to support sales efforts and educate prospective and existing customers.
- Case Studies & Testimonials: Lead the development of compelling client success stories and testimonials that demonstrate XX’s value, impact, and customer outcomes.
- Sales Enablement: Partner closely with Sales Operations and sales teams to align marketing initiatives and content with sales priorities, ensuring consistent messaging and effective tools throughout the sales process.
Lead Generation
- Inbound Lead Generation
- Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns to increase qualified inbound leads
- Develop and publish webinars, whitepapers, videos, and other high-value content to attract prospects and nurture them through the buying journey.
- Identify, test, and evaluate cost-effective advertising, content, and digital channels to expand reach and improve lead acquisition.
Outbound Lead Generation
- Partner closely with the Sales Business Development team to develop, manage, and optimize outbound sequences, messaging, and playbook content.
- Lead the planning and promotion of webinars, developing strategies to drive strong registration, attendance, and post-event engagement.
- Own and execute a consistent monthly webinar series, from topic development and speaker coordination through promotion, execution, and follow-up.
- Identify and manage third-party content syndication opportunities to expand reach and generate qualified leads from new audiences.
- Develop and manage targeted nurture and drip campaigns to engage prospects at scale, move leads through the funnel, and support sales conversion.
Trade Show Strategy
- Event Strategy: Evaluate industry trade shows and events based on audience, strategic fit, past performance, and lead-generation potential to develop an effective annual event strategy.
- Event Planning & Execution: Own the annual event calendar and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure each event is aligned to the appropriate customer vertical, audience, and business objectives.
- Event Performance: Establish and track event KPIs—including meetings, qualified leads, engagement, and pipeline contribution—to evaluate performance and inform future investments.
- Sales Readiness: Equip event representatives with the messaging, collateral, attendee insights, and other resources needed to maximize engagement and follow-up.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Messaging & Material
- Messaging & Positioning: Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to refine Airtower’s value proposition and develop differentiated messaging tailored to key customer segments.
- Marketing Collateral: Own and continuously evolve presentations, sales collateral, and other marketing materials to ensure they reflect current market trends, customer needs, and Airtower’s latest messaging.
- Website Management: Maintain and optimize the company website to ensure content, messaging, and visual presentation accurately reflect Airtower’s current positioning and priorities.
- Channel Enablement: Develop marketing and sales materials that enable indirect channel partners to effectively communicate Airtower’s value proposition and support their sales efforts.
3rd Party Management
- Manage and coordinate third-party marketing partners and contractors, including paid search consultants, public relations agencies, web developers, and other specialized vendors
CRM Administration, Performance & Reporting
- CRM & Lead Management: Manage lead data, imports, and routing across multiple channels, ensuring accurate records, timely follow-up, and effective handoff to Sales.
- Funnel & Revenue Alignment: Establish and track lead generation targets in alignment with broader company revenue goals and sales objectives.
- Marketing Performance & ROI: Develop and maintain regular reporting and dashboards to measure channel performance, pipeline contribution, and return on marketing investment.
- Executive Reporting & Insights: Lead monthly business reviews with the Executive Leadership Team, providing clear performance updates, key insights, and recommendations to inform marketing and business decisions.
- Lead Quality & Conversion: Monitor and optimize lead scoring, MQL-to-SQL conversion, and other key funnel metrics to improve lead quality and increase marketing’s contribution to pipeline.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a marketing or sales role with progressive responsibility. Telecom or Commercial Real Estate Marketing Experience Preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Candidates with an Associate’s degree and equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Technical Skills: 1–2 years of HubSpot marketing suite experience preferred (or similar CRM experience). Proficiency in building reports/dashboards is required.
- Tools Knowledge: Strong command of Google marketing tools, CRM systems, and content management systems.
- Analytical Ability: Solid analytical skills and comfort interpreting data.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization & Initiative: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Location: Remote with occasional travel; Candidates MUST be located in one of the following metropolitan areas: Boston, Atlanta or Washington, DC
- Travel: Up to 15% travel required for industry trade shows or internal meetings.
