  • Coordinate federal, state, and local income and franchise tax compliance with PwC, including data collection, workpaper preparation, return review, extensions, estimated payments, tax payments, tax-account reconciliations, and provision support.
  • Coordinate international and cross-border tax matters, including U.S.-Canada treaty positions, Canadian GST/HST and import-tax recovery, Canadian telecommunications taxes, and other applicable international compliance requirements.
  • Manage tax notices, examinations, and information requests by researching issues, assembling supporting documentation, coordinating with external advisors, and tracking matters through resolution.
  • Oversee ancillary compliance matters, including Secretary of State filings, business licenses, personal property tax, FBAR reporting, Forms W-9 and 1099, unclaimed property, and other information-reporting requirements.
  • Support tax-related legal entity records, intercompany and transfer-pricing matters, owner or equity-holder tax distributions and reporting, and acquisition, restructuring, purchase accounting, R&D credit, Section 174, customs, and other tax projects as applicable.
  • Monitor relevant tax developments, communicate potential business impacts, and develop policies, controls, documentation, and process improvements that increase the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of the Company’s tax function.
