Our growing law practice is seeking a full-time legal intake specialist to join our team! You'll communicate with prospective clients and evaluate the suitability of their cases for the firm, manage new client onboarding and data entry, book and manage their appointments, as well as perform other administrative tasks. We'll provide the training and resources to help you excel in your role on our collaborative, cooperative, and upbeat team. We are looking for serious, goal-driven candidates with an excellent work ethic, prior customer service experience in a law firm setting, great communication skills and attention to detail, the ability to process and evaluate a large volume of information per day, and a desire to help others. Responsibilities: Answer the law firm's main phone line, the majority of calls from leads. Collect detailed information from potential clients. Qualify leads by case type suitability, amount of controversy, deadlines, and related factors. Run conflict checks. Check docket reports. Follow-up with leads by phone and CRM. Offer a range of consultation types. Provide and track referrals.Draft engagement agreements. Document collection before consultations. Ensure complete file and file setup. Follow-up with clients after consultations. Conduct general scheduling and administration. Maintain electronic files and send letters electronically. Qualifications: Fully remote position. Will only consider candidates who reside within Eastern Standard or Central Time Zones.Important: Must work from a secure, enclosed, private home office dedicated to the role, during the hours of 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST. Must ensure a work environment free from noise and other distractions from the home environment. Maintaining lead/client confidentiality is critical.Law firm experience is essential. A paralegal certificate is preferred, but not required. We are open to part-time applicants who will be able to transition to full-time within 30-90 days.Other Considerations: Currently, the firm does not offer health insurance. References and a background check will be required. Compensation: $45,000 - $52,000 per year
