Responsibilities

  • Drive sales volume, optimize product mix, and manage pricing by staying informed of supply and demand, market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities.
  • Identify and secure new accounts for products and services, while maintaining and nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers to drive sales growth.
  • Ensure high performance within the sales team by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees. Provide leadership through counseling, discipline, planning, monitoring, and performance appraisals to achieve team excellence.
  • Strategically address and resolve customer issues by understanding their needs and feedback (VOC), aiming for win-win solutions that benefit both the customer and the company. Work closely with management and factory teams for continuous improvements based on customer input.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales leadership experience, preferably within the industrial or safety sectors.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing high-performing sales teams across multiple regions.
  • Strong background in key account management, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a sales team, preferably with experience overseeing regional managers.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a geographically diverse team to achieve set sales goals and objectives.
  • Strong change management skills, with experience in restructuring or transforming teams to drive performance improvements.
  • Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, setting sales objectives, and forecasting sales volume and profit.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, OPEX) to ensure alignment and drive overall business objectives.
  • Experience in executing Go-to-Market strategies, working closely with distribution and channel partners.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities to adapt and refine sales strategies.
