Job Summary
As a JavaScript Backend Developer, you will contribute to the team's data processing, API development, and backend architecture. This requires applying strong debugging and problem-solving skills to technical challenges and maintaining clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is responsible for promoting secure coding practices, delivering high-quality solutions, and helping to shape team standards. You will primarily work with MongoDB to design, develop, and optimize data models and queries specifically for generating complex reports, while collaborating with front-end, DevOps, and data analytics teams to support the team's commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Development of scripts for data extraction from MongoDB;
- Creation and maintenance of APIs for data processing and delivery;
- Optimization of MongoDB queries for report generation;
- Collaboration with analytics teams to understand reporting requirements.
Essential Skills
- Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript (Node.js);
- Experience in generating CSV files and handling large volumes of data;
- Proficiency in MongoDB, including aggregation pipelines;
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Highly Desirable Skills
- Front-end development experience (Angular, React);
- Knowledge of other databases (SQL or NoSQL);
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
