IT Services Engineer III

About the Role:

As an IT Services Engineer III, you will join our corporate IT team as a remote-first, highly technical member responsible for administering and automating the core systems that power our global workforce. This role is based in Buenos Aires and supports our growing presence in Argentina, but the work itself spans the full organization — you'll be embedded in our tech stack and trusted to run point on identity, collaboration tooling, device management, and automation initiatives.

This role is less about desk-side, hands-on support and more about systems ownership: provisioning and securing accounts, building automations that eliminate repetitive work, and being the go-to person for how our IT ecosystem runs day to day. You'll also serve as the local point of contact for new hire device provisioning and shipping logistics in the Buenos Aires area, coordinating with couriers/vendors or handling physical prep yourself depending on the situation.

We're looking for someone driven, resourceful, and comfortable working on the fly — someone who brings fresh ideas to the team rather than waiting to be told what to build next. A strong hunger for automation and genuine fluency with AI tools are core to this role, not a bonus.

This position reports to a Senior Engineering Manager and is fully remote, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Administer and maintain our core SaaS and identity stack: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack (Enterprise Grid), Zoom, and related tooling.
• Own new hire and offboarding provisioning end-to-end — accounts, access, group membership, and device readiness.
• Coordinate device provisioning and shipping for new hires in the Buenos Aires area, working with local couriers/vendors or handling physical logistics directly as needed.
• Build and maintain automations (scripts, low-code tools, workflow builders) that reduce manual IT work and scale support across the org.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI tools to IT support, documentation, ticket triage, and day-to-day workflows.
• Administer MDM for company devices (macOS/Windows) to ensure fleet compliance and security.
• Manage access provisioning/deprovisioning workflows between Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack.
• Support and improve our ticketing and documentation practices (Jira, Confluence) — hygiene, automation rules, SOPs.
• Partner with the broader corporate IT team (based in Miami, FL; Santa Monica, CA; and other Argentina locations) on cross-functional projects and rollouts.
• Respond to and resolve escalated IT support tickets, meeting SLAs defined in the IT support framework.
• Serve as a liaison with SaaS and hardware vendors as needed.
• Contribute to and lead IT projects — audits, migrations, provisioning automation, and process improvements.

What We Are Looking For:

We're placing strong emphasis on drive, technical depth, and a genuine hunger for automation. The right person takes ownership, works independently in a remote setting, and is always looking for a smarter way to do things — including leaning into AI tools rather than defaulting to manual work.

• Strong hands-on experience with Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack administration.
• Experience with Zoom administration and license/usage management.
• Comfort and fluency with AI tools, with a track record of applying them to IT workflows, documentation, or support.
• Demonstrated experience building automations or scripts (PowerShell, Python, Google Apps Script, low-code tools) to eliminate manual work.
• Experience with MDM platforms for macOS and/or Windows fleets.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar ticketing/documentation systems.
• Solid understanding of identity and access management concepts (provisioning, SSO, group-based access).
• Comfortable coordinating physical logistics (device shipping/prep) for new hires when needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while staying closely connected to a distributed team across the US and Argentina.
• A builder's mindset: curious, resourceful, and quick to bring new ideas rather than wait for direction.
• Spanish/English bilingual fluency.

Bonus if You Have:

• Experience in a global or multi-region IT organization.
• Experience with round-robin ticket assignment, provisioning automation, or Slack Workflow Builder.
• Familiarity with SaaS license audits and cost optimization.
• Experience supporting or administering additional tools in a modern SaaS stack (e.g., Figma, Databricks, Confluence).
