As an Insights Solutions Manager II, you will manage the partnership between Insights Solutions and the Emerging Sales team at Pinterest. Your role involves creating the strategy and execution plan for your sectors in collaboration with team leadership. You will provide guidance and inspiration to your team, ensuring alignment of metrics with team objectives (OKRs). Additionally, you will actively engage in Insights Solutions manager forums, contributing to shaping the overall vision of the Insights Solutions team.


What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for overseeing a team of 4 individual contributors leading to accountability for team performance and results.
  • Adapts functional plans and priorities to effectively navigate resource and operational challenges within the Emerging (Auto, QSR, Tech/Telco, FinServ, Travel) industries.
  • Provides technical guidance to team members, colleagues, and customers to ensure clarity and optimal performance.
  • Displays versatility in addressing and resolving operational challenges through innovative problem-solving techniques.
  • Independently drives the execution of specialized and complex insights deliverables with a focus on excellence.
  • Showcases a track record of successfully executing specialized insights deliverables with proficiency and expertise.
  • Design, execute, and build several insights systems and programs aligned with functional pillars and objectives
  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems, while understanding and recognizing broader impact across teams.


What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience in insights, program management, or marketing strategy.
  • Digital ads experience working in insights/market research/analytics.
  • Experience managing individual contributors (2+ people).
  • Curious and empathic leader who can apply understanding of business needs and insights expertise to multiple stakeholders and achieve team objectives within team resources.
  • Ability to manage and set clear expectations across multiple stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, etc.).
  • An expert in research methodologies and syndicated audience data, and strong ability to tell highly engaging and actionable insights stories.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, 5+ years in roles with active SQL utilization.
  • An independent problem solver, and solutions-focused.
  • The ability to own global programs (which includes project management, setting expectations and influencing various stakeholders, and delegating necessary tasks to ensure progress).
  • Experience leading research projects from start to finish: survey design, sample recruitment, monitoring, vendor project management, results interpretation/ analysis.
  • Comfortable speaking to and have an understanding of big data.
