The Inside Sales Representative manages the full quote-to-order lifecycle while driving revenue growth across Aerospace, Defense, and Government accounts. They are responsible for maintaining CRM accuracy, engaging proactively with customers and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a revenue‑generating sales professional responsible for driving profitable growth across TEVET’s Aerospace, Defense, and Government accounts. ISRs own their book of business end‑to‑end managing all quoting activity, engaging proactively with customers and suppliers, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the success of every transaction.
This role is highly customer‑facing and requires strong communication, consistent outbound calling, disciplined pipeline management, and the ability to deliver fast, accurate responses in a complex, high‑accountability environment. ISRs diagnose customer needs, impact purchasing decisions, strengthen long‑term relationships, and resolve issues across Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations.
ISRs work closely with Account Managers (AMs), who focus on strategic penetration, long‑term growth, and high‑level account development. While AMs drive expansion and broader relationship strategy, ISRs own the transactional engine managing supplier interactions, customer requirements, documentation, pricing accuracy, compliance, and the quote‑to‑order process
ISRs serve as subject matter experts for their assigned accounts and may coach peers or provide backup coverage to ensure continuity of service. They play a critical role in protecting revenue, maintaining compliance, and upholding TEVET’s Quality Management System (QMS).
