Job DetailsJob Location: Orange, CA 92868Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 Salary    Purpose of Position:   The Inside Sales Representative will facilitate the sales of small group and group related products for a specific block of brokers. This position is responsible for new business relationships, following up on outstanding quotes, negotiating with carriers, and representing the Company. Position will also be involved in facilitating a speedy underwriting process and meeting goals and objectives on a monthly basis.   Essential Functions:   To provide broker support via telephone by: Answering questions Providing technical/legislative information Screening and directing new business sales Following up on outstanding quotes Handling carrier exceptions Facilitating a speedy underwriting process. On-site or remote regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job. Other job duties as assigned Qualifications   Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:   Position requires that candidates speak fluent English and communicate effectively. Must have strong knowledge of group medical insurance and related aspects. Must have strong people skills, strong phone skills and ability to prioritize.       Must be detail oriented with ability to work independently in a fast- paced environment with constantly changing parameters. Self-motivated and goal oriented. Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.   Educational Requirements:   High school diploma or equivalent required College diploma and industry designations helpful but not required. CA Life & Health license required. If successful applicant does not have insurance license, he/she will be required to obtain one within three (3) months of date of hire.   Physical Requirements:   Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasional standing and walking. Must have adequate hearing for phone work. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
