Soccer Shots Utah County · Part-Time · Remote (Utah County preferred)
About Us
Soccer Shots Utah County is a youth soccer program introducing children ages 2–8 to the game through age-appropriate classes across Utah County. We run seasonal programs at parks, indoor facilities, and childcare partners, and we're focused on growth. This is a small, fast-moving operation where your work directly moves the business forward.
The Role
We're looking for a self-directed remote administrative assistant to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is not a "wait to be told what to do" role. The right person sees what needs doing, does it, and flags what they can't handle — without being chased. If you like owning a set of responsibilities and running with them, you'll thrive here. If you need a task queued up for you every hour, this isn't the fit.
Hours: ~8–10 hours per week Pay: $15/hour Schedule: Flexible, but must reliably check and respond to communications at set times each day.
What You'll Own
-
Customer communications — Monitor and respond to parent emails and texts twice daily (morning and afternoon). Answer common questions, route what you can't handle, and make sure no parent goes unanswered.
-
Class schedules — Keep class listings, times, locations, and capacity accurate and up to date in our registration system (SportsEngine Motion). Update as sessions fill, change, or get added.
-
Email & inbox management — Keep the inbox organized, triaged, and current. Draft routine replies, flag anything that needs the owner's attention.
-
Leadership meeting coordination — Schedule meetings, send invites and agendas, track action items, and follow up so nothing falls through the cracks.
-
General organization — Maintain trackers, files, and records so information is easy to find and nothing gets lost.
Who Thrives Here
-
You take initiative. When a task wraps up, you move to the next thing on your own — you don't ask "what should I work on?"
-
You're reliable. When you commit to checking messages twice a day or learning a new system, you actually do it, consistently.
-
You're organized. You track your own work and keep the owner's world tidy without being managed.
-
You communicate proactively. You give quick status updates before you're asked, and you raise problems early.
-
You learn systems fast. You're comfortable getting up to speed on new software (we'll train you on ours) and don't need hand-holding after.
Requirements
- Strong written communication — warm, clear, professional with parents
- Comfortable with email, texting platforms, spreadsheets, and web-based software
- Reliable computer and internet
- Available at consistent times each day
- Experience with youth programs, customer service, or admin work a plus (not required)
To Apply
Please include a short cover letter/note telling us why you're a good fit and one example of a time you took ownership of something without being told to. Applications that skip that question won't be considered.
Flexible work from home options available.
