POSITION SUMMARY:

World Relief seeks an HR professional to support employees and leaders throughout the employee experience. This role partners closely with other HR Partners and the broader HR team to help deliver HR services including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations support, talent development, and HR administration

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support HR Partners in providing responsive HR support to assigned offices and departments.
  • Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees, answering routine questions using approved HR resources and escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, interview support, and candidate communications.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to help ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Support employee engagement, training, and learning activities that enhance employee experience and development. 
  • Assist with performance management processes, including progress check-ins, documentation, and communication of timelines.
  • Support employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting concerns, escalating appropriately and assisting with follow-up as directed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, and prepare basic HR reports and summaries.
  • Assist with employee transitions, including promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, and separations.
  • Coordinate HR communications to ensure employees have access to relevant information and resources.
  • Contribute to HR projects and other duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of Human Resources experience, or related administrative or employee-support experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, or training activities.
  • Experience working with employees or leaders across multiple locations.
  • Interest in continued HR learning or certification.
