In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle.

  • Coordinate onboarding and employee inductions for new team members.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure all HR documentation is accurate and up to date.

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with employee licences, certifications and mandatory qualifications.

  • Respond to employee enquiries relating to HR policies, leave, timesheets and general employment matters.

  • Support employee relations by assisting with workplace issues and escalating matters where required.

  • Track compliance deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding requirements.

  • Manage HR administration within the HRIS (currently IntelliHR, with a future transition to Employment Hero).

  • Coordinate uniforms, employee recognition initiatives and other HR administrative tasks.

  • Assist with maintaining company policies, procedures and internal HR documentation.

  • Support continuous improvements to HR processes and systems.

  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure a positive employee experience across the business.


Skills you have:

  • At least 5+ years' experience in an HR Generalist or other similar HR roles.

  • Strong understanding of Australian HR practices and employment legislation will be highly regarded.

  • Proven experience managing onboarding and HR administration.

  • Experience supporting employee relations, including responding to employee enquiries and resolving day-to-day workplace issues.

  • Experience working within HRIS platforms such as IntelliHR, BambooHR, Employment Hero or similar tools.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong follow-up skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally across all levels of the business.

  • A proactive, self-motivated and resourceful approach, with the confidence to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations with minimal supervision.

  • High level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.


Skills that will make you stand out:

  • Experience working within trade, construction, security, field services or other technical industries.

  • Exposure to learning and development initiatives.

  • Familiarity with compliance involving licences, certifications and workplace safety requirements.

  • Experience supporting a workforce made up of office staff, field employees and contractors.

  • Someone who enjoys taking initiative and recommending process improvements.
