Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $24-$29hr, with full potential base compensation range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $24-$35hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Employment Logistics: 

The HR Compliance Specialist plays a key role in integrating new employees into the organization by coordinating and executing onboarding activities. This position helps ensure a smooth transition for new hires while supporting a positive and consistent employee experience. The role assists with onboarding documentation, employee data audits, and I-9 compliance, while identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and scalability of onboarding processes.

The Must-Haves: 

  • 2+ years of experience in relevant roles
  • Demonstrated business and technical acumen
  • Ability to follow company policies and established processes
  • Ability to complete work with minimal instruction
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work

Your Mission in Motion: 

A summary of key responsibilities for the role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.

  • Onboarding execution & continuous improvement: Assist with the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall execution.
  • External document management: Manage the delivery, completion, and follow-up of external onboarding document requirements.
  • Employee data audits & compliance: Conduct audits and maintain organized, secure employee data across functions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • I-9 management & document audits: Assist with I-9 management and related document audits as needed.

*Washington state employees are eligible for up to 56 hours of paid sick leave annually.

 

The salary range above represents the national range for this position. The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations. 

 

Compensation decisions are made based on the specific circumstances of each hire to ensure fair and competitive pay.
