The graphic design contractor will create visual assets for instructional design, e-learning, and organizational development projects. Responsibilities include producing infographics, technical diagrams, and accessible digital content while collaborating with SMEs and project managers.

We are seeking to add graphic design contractors to our bench in anticipation of increased client demand.
Core design skills (required)
Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign at an advanced level
Visual design basics: layout, typography, color theory, hierarchy and grid systems
Building and applying brand guidelines, including working inside a client's style guide
Icons, infographics and data visualization that turn technical content into simple visuals
Print and digital production: export settings, file prep and version control
eLearning and instructional graphics (required)
Graphics for Articulate Storyline: slide backgrounds, character poses, buttons, states and layers
Familiarity with Absorb Create and Rise (preferred)
Ability to read a storyboard and turn it into finished screens with the instructional designers
Visuals for technical and process content, such as equipment diagrams, workflows and annotated photos (useful for the Exxon analyzer-type courses)
Basic motion graphics or animation in After Effects or Vyond (preferred)
Accessibility (required)
Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA design rules: color contrast, not relying on color alone, readable fonts and alt-text-ready graphics
Creating accessible PDFs from InDesign (tagging and reading order), or working with Diana on remediation
Designing for screen readers and keyboard navigation in eLearning
Collaboration and process (required)
Taking structured feedback from SMEs, clients and the PM, and managing review rounds
File organization and naming that fits the team's handoff process
Comfort with remote collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint and Review 360
Working knowledge of Figma or Canva for quick mockups (nice to have)
Proposals and business development exposure (preferred)
Layouts for proposals and capability statements, plus RFP response formatting under strict page and font limits
Templates for Word and PowerPoint that non-designers can maintain
Covers, org charts, process graphics and past-performance one-pagers
Working quickly under fixed submission deadlines
Nice to have
Experience in federal or government contracting
Video editing in Premiere Pro or Camtasia
AI image tools such as Firefly, used responsibly and with an eye on licensing
Please include a portfolio that includes eLearning samples or a Storyline project, at least one infographic or technical diagram, a proposal or long-form layout, and evidence of accessible design.
