Job Overview:

We are seeking a Design and Sales Coordinator to work with our Mid Atlantic sales team.  This fully remote role will provide support to KI designers, sales reps, dealers, Architects and Designers and customers to help obtain specifications for KI products.  The ideal location for this individual to reside is in Maryland or the DC Metro area and will provide coverage in Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia with rare travel down to Richmond.   

 

Responsibilities include space planning and design assistance, converting designs to quote estimates, finish sample processing, product sample management, customer and A&D event coordination, inspiration and design center operations and sales meeting coordination. 

 

This role requires working knowledge of CET/CAD, and Espec applications, space-planning, interior design, and related design support as assigned.  Broad product knowledge, responsive communication, and accurate follow-through are essential to delivering exemplary customer service throughout the sales cycle. 

 

What you Need to Succeed:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, drafting, interior design, architectural design, or related field. 
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • A professional design credential is strongly recommended.  Auto CAD/CET proficiency, rendering skills, spatial awareness, and the ability to read 2D prints and understand 3D geometry are required when performing assigned design responsibilities. 
  • Microsoft Office and Salesforce knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong organization, time management, communication, customer service, technology, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
