GoHighLevel (GHL) Specialist

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

Our client is a marketing company specializing in helping home services businesses generate and convert leads through digital advertising, marketing automation, and technology. Their systems combine lead generation, landing pages, CRM workflows, automated follow-up, and other digital tools to help clients efficiently manage and convert new opportunities.

Role Overview

The GoHighLevel (GHL) Specialist will support the setup, administration, and ongoing maintenance of the company’s GoHighLevel environments and connected marketing systems. This role will work primarily within established processes, configuring new GHL setups, maintaining workflows, managing automations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring different components of the marketing technology stack work together effectively.

This is a hands-on technical role for someone highly comfortable working within GoHighLevel and experienced with CRM workflows, email and SMS automation, landing pages, lead routing, integrations, and basic WordPress administration. This is not a web design or software development role; the focus is on reliably executing and maintaining established systems.

Key Responsibilities

GoHighLevel Setup & Administration

• Build and configure GoHighLevel environments based on established company processes and requirements.

• Manage pipelines, contacts, forms, calendars, workflows, and other GHL functionality as needed.

• Maintain existing GHL configurations and ensure systems remain organized and functional.

• Assist with troubleshooting technical or configuration issues within GoHighLevel.

CRM & Marketing Automation

• Build, maintain, and update automated workflows within GoHighLevel.

• Configure email and SMS sequences, triggers, follow-up workflows, and other lead-nurturing automations.

• Support lead routing and ensure leads move through the appropriate workflows and pipelines.

• Maintain existing automation processes and make updates as business or client requirements change.

Integrations & Connected Tools

• Use Zapier and similar integration tools to connect GoHighLevel with other platforms in the marketing technology stack.

• Troubleshoot integrations and data flow between connected systems.

• Work with online forms and other third-party marketing tools that feed information into existing workflows.

• Assist with basic configuration of new integrations when required.

Landing Pages & WordPress Administration

• Make basic edits and updates to existing landing pages.

• Work within the WordPress backend to update content, settings, or existing page elements as needed.

• Support existing landing page infrastructure without being responsible for full website design or development.

Lead Tracking & System Maintenance

• Support lead attribution, tracking, follow-up, and CRM organization.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting lead capture, routing, automation, or follow-up.

• Conduct routine checks to ensure workflows and integrations are functioning correctly.

• Document system changes and maintain organized processes for ongoing administration.

Qualifications

Experience

• 1–3+ years of experience working with GoHighLevel, CRM administration, marketing automation, or a similar technical operations role.

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining GoHighLevel workflows and automations.

• Experience working with Zapier or similar integration platforms.

• Experience administering or making basic updates within WordPress.

Skills

• Strong working knowledge of GoHighLevel (GHL).

• Strong understanding of CRM pipelines, workflows, triggers, forms, lead routing, and automated follow-up.

• Experience configuring email and SMS automation.

• Working knowledge of Zapier and third-party integrations.

• Ability to navigate WordPress and make basic edits to existing pages.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar form tools or other connected marketing platforms.

• Detail-oriented and methodical when configuring workflows and automations.

• Ability to follow established processes accurately while identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Organized and capable of managing multiple technical requests or environments.

• Comfortable independently troubleshooting technical and configuration issues.

What Success Looks Like

• New GoHighLevel setups are configured accurately and according to established processes.

• CRM workflows, email and SMS automations, and lead-routing systems operate reliably.

• Technical issues within GHL and connected systems are identified and resolved efficiently.

• Landing page and WordPress updates are completed accurately without requiring developer support for routine changes.

• Lead tracking, attribution, and follow-up systems remain organized and functional.

• The marketing team can rely on the GoHighLevel Specialist to maintain the technical infrastructure behind client campaigns.
