The Global Fire Segment Manager leads global market development for TempRite’s fire protection portfolio, including BlazeMaster® CPVC and freezemaster® antifreeze. In this role, you will:

Market Strategy and Regional Development

  • Develop and execute the global strategy, positioning, and value proposition for TempRite’s fire protection portfolio.
  • Assess market size, demand, regulatory trends, competitive dynamics, barriers to adoption, and growth opportunities across priority regions.
  • Partner with regional leaders to identify priority segments, applications, customers, and market-development opportunities, with particular focus on Latin America, India, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Create actionable regional market plans that define where the global approach should remain consistent and where messaging, partnerships, sourcing, pricing, or brand positioning should be localized.

Marketing and Technical Enablement

  • Partner with Marketing Communications and Demand Creation to execute messaging, campaigns, training, and business-development programs for BlazeMaster and freezemaster.
  • Develop technical and market-facing tools, including training materials, presentations, educational content, and regional resources for installers, designers, engineers, authorities having jurisdiction, customers, and other key audiences.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert in CPVC fire sprinkler system design, engineering, installation, and application, supporting regional teams and customers with technical questions.
  • Help remove barriers to the use of BlazeMaster systems in light-hazard commercial buildings through targeted education, market development, and technical support.

Business Development and Innovation

  • Partner with local Demand Creation Territory Managers to identify and advance sustainable growth opportunities in priority markets.
  • Identify opportunities for new products and services and connect market needs with Research and Development capabilities.
  • Monitor industry and competitor trends and translate market insights into clear recommendations, priorities, and growth initiatives.

Codes, Standards, and Industry Engagement

  • Work with the Codes and Standards team to monitor, comment on, and propose changes to relevant fire and building codes and standards.
  • Represent or support TempRite on appropriate local, national, and international technical committees.
  • Participate in relevant industry organizations and deliver technical presentations that strengthen market awareness, credibility, and brand preference.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business, fire protection, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years experience in fire protection, building systems, engineered materials, construction products, technical marketing, or market development.
  • Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, installation practices, codes, standards, and the roles of installers, designers, engineers, authorities having jurisdiction, and building owners.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess markets, develop strategies, and translate commercial and technical insights into executable growth plans.
  • Experience developing or delivering technical training, educational content, and presentations for varied audiences.
  • Strong communication, analytical, project-management, collaboration, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and regions and travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
