THE ROLE

This is a backend-focused Full-Stack Engineering role to architect complex core platform systems and expand internal tools. It involves shipping production-grade server-side features in Go while contributing to the React frontend to deliver complete end-to-end features.

You will design and deploy production AI/LLM functionality directly into our product ecosystem while leveraging AI tools day-to-day to accelerate development

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend services and core platform systems in Go and NodeJS/TS.
• Design and ship production-grade AI/LLM integrations, intelligent features, and internal tools.
• Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces in React to deliver complete end-to-end functionality.
• Utilize modern AI tools and agents (such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot) to accelerate daily coding, testing, and system design.
• Collaborate closely with team members to assess architecture risks, estimate timelines, and optimize system performance.

Requirements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Must-have:

• 5+ years of commercial experience building and running large-scale, production systems
• 3+ years of production experience with Go/NodeJS/TS on the backend - or strong production experience with another backend language (e.g. Java, C#) 
• Hands-on production experience building AI/LLM-powered features into a product (e.g. RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM API integrations, prompt-driven features) - not just personal experimentation.
• Working proficiency in React (or a similar modern UI framework) and comfort moving between frontend and backend code as needed
• Experience with cloud platforms and their core services (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Experience with at least two of the following: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (or other NoSQL DB), Redis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with broader ML/data science technology beyond LLM-based features
• Experience fine-tuning models or working with model evaluation/observability tooling, building harnesses.
• Prior contributions to open-source projects or libraries
