Front End Developer – WordPress / Vue.js / React
We’re looking for an experienced Front End Developer with a strong eye for design and exceptional
attention to detail to join our development team.
A major part of this role is taking supplied designs and turning them into high-quality, pixel-accurate,
responsive websites and web applications. We want someone who notices the small details —
spacing, typography, alignment, sizing and responsive behaviour — rather than producing something
that is simply “close enough.”
You’ll work across WordPress/PHP websites and modern applications built with Vue.js and React.
We also actively use AI-assisted development, coding agents and Figma MCP to speed up the
development process. We’re looking for someone who embraces these tools while maintaining
strong development fundamentals and ownership of their work.
A strong portfolio of existing work is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Translate Figma designs into highly accurate, production-ready interfaces.
• Maintain strong visual consistency between designs and the finished product.
• Build responsive interfaces across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Build and maintain WordPress/PHP websites, themes and functionality.
• Develop modern front-end applications using Vue.js and React.
• Build clean, reusable and maintainable components.
• Integrate front ends with REST APIs and back-end services.
• Identify and correct visual inconsistencies without needing every detail pointed out.
• Troubleshoot front-end, WordPress and browser compatibility issues.
• Work closely with designers and developers to deliver polished products.
• Use AI coding agents, Figma MCP and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate development,
debugging and implementation.
• Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality and maintainability.
Requirements
Required Experience
• 7+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills.
• Commercial experience with WordPress and PHP.
• Experience with Vue.js and React.
• Strong experience translating Figma designs into responsive websites and applications.
• Demonstrated ability to produce pixel-accurate front-end implementations.
• Excellent visual attention to detail, including typography, spacing, alignment and layout.
• Experience working with REST APIs and Git.
• Comfortable working across both new and existing codebases.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve development speed and
productivity.
AI-Assisted Development
We actively encourage the use of AI and modern development tooling to help experienced
developers work faster.
You should be comfortable using tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar,
including using AI coding agents and MCP integrations where appropriate.
We are particularly interested in using Figma MCP and AI-assisted design-to-code workflows to give
coding agents direct design context and accelerate front-end implementation.
AI may be used for development, debugging, refactoring, understanding existing codebases, testing
and repetitive tasks.
You should still be capable of critically reviewing AI-generated code, identifying poor
implementations and taking responsibility for the final result.
Experience with Figma MCP, MCP servers or agentic development workflows is highly regarded.
Portfolio Requirement
A strong portfolio of existing front-end work is required.
We want to see real examples of websites and applications you have personally worked on that
demonstrate:

tooling as a way to deliver high-quality work faster without compromising development standards
