You will lead the go-to-market strategy by building repeatable sales and onboarding processes for ultra-wealthy families and their advisors. You will also serve as the primary relationship manager, guiding clients through the platform to model complex financial and tax structures.
Join as employee #4 and turn Mobena's client-facing GTM function into a repeatable system — serving ultra-wealthy families and the advisors they trust.
ABOUT MOBENA
Wealthy families make their biggest decisions — sell the business, fund the trust, move to Florida — on numbers their software guessed at. Mobena exists to end that.
After-tax planning for complex families. Mobena brings income tax, estate tax, and financial modeling into a single workflow for wealthy families and their advisors. Clients enter a family's people, entities, assets, and planned transactions to see the after-tax impact of major decisions before they act.
Mobena was founded by David Rosen — a tax attorney, CPA, and Bloomberg Tax Author of the Year. The company is three people today. Family offices are testing the platform, and Mobena will demo at FinovateFall in New York in September 2026. Visit mobena.com. See the tax. Own your future.
THE ROLE
You will work directly with some of the world's wealthiest families and their advisors. Their financial lives can include operating businesses, trusts, real estate, foundations and other entities. Your job is to guide these families and their advisors as they build and use their own Mobena models — helping them see the family clearly, understand decisions on an after-tax basis, and confidently run the model themselves.
At the center of the role is a live working session: a prospective client brings a complex family structure and assets, then uses the platform — with our guidance — to model the family's full financial picture in one place. You will learn the platform and relevant planning concepts deeply enough to guide the client through the workflow, demonstrate its capabilities, and own the relationship that follows. The client creates and maintains the model; Mobena provides onboarding, training, and support. Mobena's tax and technology team will handle the most complex tax and product questions.
Mobena is already attracting opportunities through David's network and referrals, so cold prospecting is not part of the role today. You will join Mobena as its founding GTM lead. The client-service foundation exists; a formal sales motion does not. You will build the repeatable path from first interest to signed, retained client. The person who builds and owns this function at four people is positioned to lead it when Mobena has thirty. You will influence the product we are building and the organization we are growing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own relationships with wealthy families. Serve as the primary point of contact for each family, family office, and advisor; understand their structure and people; and anticipate the next interaction.
Help clients make complexity visible. Guide families and their advisors — from onboarding through renewal — as they enter people, entities, trusts, assets, and planned transactions and use Mobena to see the after-tax impact. Clients build and maintain their own models; Mobena guides, trains, and supports them.
Build the sales and growth motion. Create the process, standards, and playbooks Mobena will use as it scales.
Make exceptional service the growth engine. Lead consultative meetings with prospects from David's network, referrals from families you serve, conferences, and inbound interest. Expect approximately 25% domestic travel for conferences, team meetings, and client meetings.
Bring the hardest family-office questions into the product. Work directly with the founding executive team each week so product priorities reflect recurring client questions and needs. You will also work closely with our co-founder Justin on process, tooling, and day-to-day accountability.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In your first 90 days: learn the platform and after-tax planning workflow, shadow the founders in live client meetings, take ownership of the existing onboarding playbook, and begin co-leading client and sales conversations.
By six months: independently lead clients from first conversation through onboarding and ongoing support, run an early repeatable sales process, and become the person clients call when they need help using Mobena.
By 12 months: own a portfolio of high-value relationships, run a predictable retention and referral motion, and have the client operating system running — not just built — as Mobena scales.
WHO WILL THRIVE HERE
You are energized by founder-stage ambiguity, high standards, and difficult client problems. You want to help build the GTM playbook, but not inherit a finished one. You specifically want the responsibility and pace of being an early startup employee.
You have owned sophisticated client relationships in wealthtech, taxtech, family-office technology, or another complex B2B software environment. You understand how software moves from purchase to sustained adoption.
We will consider a financial advisor or CPA who has worked with ultra-high-net-worth families and is ready to move from professional services into a software operating role. You are excited by customer success and consultative sales — and by building client relationships without the billable hour.
Service matters. You follow through quickly, retain context, anticipate needs, and make clients feel understood. You can explain complex financial and tax concepts clearly, but know when to bring in an expert.
This is not a mature customer-success seat with a finished playbook. It fits someone who wants to own high-touch client relationships and build the system with us.
COMPENSATION
$120,000–$140,000 base; $170,000–$200,000 on-target earnings; founding equity of 0.25%–0.5%. Target earnings are guaranteed for the first six months while you ramp. Incentives will reward conversion of existing opportunities, onboarding, adoption, and retention. Mobena does not yet offer employer-sponsored health insurance or retirement benefits. Until group coverage is available, a healthcare stipend will be available to you if you need individual coverage. We will discuss the stipend and benefits roadmap during the first conversation. Approximately 25% domestic travel.
HOW WE HIRE
We aim to complete each candidate's process within approximately two weeks: an introductory call with the founder, a conversation with the team, and a live product working session. The working session may include a short discovery conversation, a platform walkthrough, or an early client-and-growth exercise. We may add follow-up discussions, but we will schedule promptly. References are checked with the candidate's permission at the final stage. U.S. work authorization is required; the start date will be mutually agreed.
