Aquatech needs a full-time Field Services Director, Services  to work in remotely, client site locations, and/ or in our Canonsburg, PA location. The Field Services Director, Services will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an exempt employee. The ideal candidate will have experience building, leading, field operations across assigned Operations & Maintenance, Build Own Operate, Mobile Water, and Aftermarket service contracts. This role will take direct execution responsibility for assigned O&M and BOO contracts, including field mobilization, operational readiness, contract delivery, customer interface, performance management, issue resolution, and commercial contract compliance. The Field Services Director will be accountable for ensuring that Aquatech delivers safe, reliable, high-quality, and commercially disciplined service execution in the field. A central priority for this role is to build a deployable Mobile Field Engineering organization supported by best-in-class tools, processes, reporting systems, training, and technical support. The successful candidate will bring strong field leadership, contract management experience, customer-facing discipline, and hands-on operational judgment to help Aquatech scale its services business with consistency, accountability, and execution rigor.    Job Description: Build, lead, and develop a field operations organization capable of supporting O&M, BOO and Mobile Water execution across assigned contracts and customer sites. Take execution ownership for assigned O&M and BOO contracts, ensuring safe, reliable, contract-compliant, and commercially disciplined field performance. Establish and lead a deployable Mobile Field Service organization that can support mobilizations, startups, troubleshooting, optimization, emergency response, and lifecycle service needs. Own field execution planning, including staffing models, mobilization plans, readiness reviews, site coverage, escalation paths, tooling requirements, and technical support models. Serve as the accountable field operations leader for contract delivery, including scope execution, service quality, schedule performance, customer communication, and operational issue resolution. Partner with commercial, legal, finance, operations, engineering, procurement, and regional business teams to ensure assigned contracts are executed in line with customer commitments and Aquatech’s risk and profitability expectations. Lead contract management for assigned service agreements, including scope interpretation, change management, claims support, performance obligations, customer reporting, escalation management, and contract compliance. Develop and implement best-in-class field tools, service reporting templates, work execution processes, commissioning and startup checklists, safety routines, quality controls, and lessons-learned systems. Drive field performance metrics, including safety, quality, customer satisfaction, schedule adherence, contract compliance, utilization, productivity, cost control, and service profitability. Support bid and proposal teams by reviewing field execution assumptions, mobilization plans, staffing requirements, lifecycle service costs, contract risks, and operations readiness requirements. Ensure field personnel are trained, equipped, and supported with the technical, digital, safety, and procedural tools required to execute complex industrial water and wastewater service work. Act as a senior escalation point for customer issues, operating problems, site performance concerns, resource constraints, and contract execution risks. Build standard work for field engineering, including onboarding, competency development, technical playbooks, service documentation, field reporting, and repeatable deployment models. Manage third-party service providers, subcontractors, and specialist support resources where required to meet contract and customer obligations. Capture field lessons learned and convert them into improved designs, service offerings, spare parts strategies, proposal assumptions, training content, and operating procedures. Support the growth of Aquatech’s services platform by improving execution credibility, customer confidence, contract performance, and the scalability of field operations. Skill Requirements: Significant experience leading field-based technical teams across multiple sites, regions, projects, or service contracts. Demonstrated experience owning execution responsibility for O&M, BOO, long-term service, mobile water, industrial water, wastewater, or utility-style contracts. Strong practical understanding of contract management, including scope control, change management, customer obligations, performance requirements, risk allocation, and commercial escalation. Proven ability to build scalable field organizations, deploy technical resources, manage operational readiness, and install repeatable tools and processes. Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies, which may include RO, UF, pretreatment, ion exchange, filtration, wastewater treatment, ZLD, reuse, desalination, or high-purity systems. Strong customer-facing leadership skills with the ability to manage executive-level customer relationships, difficult site issues, and operational escalations. Strong safety mindset and demonstrated ability to lead field teams in compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Ability to work across engineering, operations, commercial, finance, procurement, legal, and project teams to align field execution with business requirements. Strong communication, documentation, reporting, and leadership skills. Willingness and ability to travel extensively to customer sites, project locations, and Aquatech operating centers. Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods. Needs a high degree of concentration in a busy area.    Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Construction Management, Business, or a related technical discipline; equivalent senior field leadership experience may be considered. 12–15+ years of relevant experience in field services, operations, commissioning, industrial services, contract operations, water treatment, utilities, process systems, or outsourced technical services.   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS   Experience building or transforming a field services, commissioning, mobile water, industrial services, or contract operations organization. Experience in mobile water services, outsourced O&M, BOO contracts, industrial utilities, emergency response, or mission-critical site operations. Experience managing commercial performance for service contracts, including cost control, margin protection, change orders, claims support, and customer reporting. Experience with service management platforms, CMMS systems, digital field reporting, asset tracking, remote monitoring, or operational dashboards. Project Management certification, operations leadership training, or similar advanced professional development. Experience supporting proposal development, bid reviews, contract transitions, mobilizations, and lifecycle service planning.   #Remote
