  • Lead and track sales activity in Salesforce, maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline of prospects and partners.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
  • Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of prospective partner businesses.
  • Coordinate and execute recruitment events, ensuring strong attendance, clear messaging, and effective follow-up with interested businesses.
  • Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet with prospects, attend events, and support program growth initiatives.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with business owners and stakeholders.
  • Identify and solve problems for applicants in the field, helping them overcome barriers to completing the application and launch process.

Essential Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Outside or field sales experience.
  • CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple systems and technology (tech savvy).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.
  • Professionalism, enthusiasm for working with others, and a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round-trip on a daily basis.
  • Comfort working independently in a field-based role while managing a structured sales pipeline.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior field sales experience is a plus.
  • Previous roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers are a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with community organizations, business associations, or local influencers is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with data entry and managing information using Excel and CRM tools.
