AI Summary

You will own the strategy, planning, and execution of events and programs across Europe to build brand presence and generate qualified pipeline. This involves managing end-to-end logistics, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and reporting on event ROI and pipeline performance.

About Us

Point One Navigation is building the future of precise location. Our mission is to deliver a unified location platform that enables autonomy, safety, and efficiency across industries from robotics to transportation. We are a high-performance, high-collaboration team that thrives on solving complex problems, moving fast, and delivering impact.

Role Outcome

We are seeking a European Events Field Marketing Lead to own the strategy, planning, and execution of events and programs that builds Point One's presence, pipeline, and aligns with our brand across the region. This is a hands-on, execution-first role combining regional market insight, program management discipline, and hustle.

You will work directly with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to identify the highest-leverage events, conferences, and customer gatherings across Europe, then run each one end to end — from strategy and budget through booth design, booth experience, speaker placement, and post-event pipeline handoff. You will serve as the region's on-the-ground marketing owner, translating market knowledge into a calendar of events that generates qualified pipeline and reinforces Point One as the category leader in precise location.

The ultimate outcome of this role is a European field program that reliably converts marketing spend into qualified pipeline and secondarily supports brand visibility, and customer engagement — planned and executed with minimal oversight.

Success in this role is measured by volume and quality of pipeline generated from events (virtual and in person). Events, sponsorships, and field activity with prospects, customers or partners are the means to achieve these results, not the end in themselves.

Immediate Areas of Focus

Event Strategy & Calendar Ownership

  • Own the European event calendar — identify, prioritize, and select the conferences, trade shows, and customer events that best support pipeline and brand goals.

  • Build the business case for each event: audience fit, expected pipeline, cost, and ROI — and defend that case against a limited budget.

  • Continuously evaluate the regional event landscape and reallocate investment toward what's working.

End-to-End Logistics & Operational Execution

  • Run every logistical element of an event — booth and sponsorship design, shipping, staffing, collateral, signage, and on-site coordination — while in alignment with centralized dedicated events, brand, and product teams.

  • Coordinate speaking opportunities, demos, and customer meetings on-site to maximize the value of each event.

  • Manage vendors, venues, and local partners across multiple European countries and languages.

Pipeline & Follow-Through & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Bring strong operational rigor by partnering with marketing, business development and sales to ensure every event has clear pre-event outreach, on-site lead capture, and post-event follow-up.

  • Track and report pipeline generated, cost per lead, and event ROI back to the business. Align activity with central processes and reporting, working with Marketing Ops team.

  • Close the loop with Sales and Customer Success to make sure event-sourced leads convert.

Regional Brand & Field Presence

  • Align Point One's brand and reputation across Europe through field presence, local press, partner co-marketing, and customer-facing moments.

  • Identify opportunities to bring partners, customers and prospects together outside of large industry events — dinners, roundtables, and regional meetups.

  • Act as the local voice of the brand, adapting global messaging for European markets and customers.

  • Act as the bridge between European Sales and the global Marketing and Product teams.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation roles, with direct ownership of event strategy and execution in a high growth start up environment

  • Track record of running high-impact events and conferences from planning through pipeline delivery, with a scrappy DIY culture.

  • Comfortable owning budget, ROI reporting, and vendor negotiation independently.

  • Experience marketing to technical or engineering audiences.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple concurrent events across countries and time zones.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% across Europe.

Preferred

  • Experience marketing into robotics, autonomous systems, automotive, drones, industrial automation, or federal technologies.

  • Fluency in a second European language in addition to English.

  • Experience building a European field marketing

  • Experience working closely with sales in a B2B, enterprise, or deep-tech sales motion. GNSS experience appreciated but not required.

Our Cultural Foundation

At Point One, our cultural and operating design is built around one guiding principle: we must move with extreme speed and efficiency of effort to stay in a leadership position.

This environment gives people a high level of autonomy and the ability to make a real impact. It also challenges every team member to grow — both professionally and personally. Because we focus on promoting from within rather than relying on external hiring, the opportunities for advancement are tremendous for those who seek them.

That said, growth only comes from delivering in the present. What matters most is the job to be done today, not the job you want tomorrow. When we all focus on today’s outcomes with excellence, the path to greater responsibility and growth naturally follows.

We think about our culture in two dimensions:

How We Show Up Every Day

These are the behaviors we expect every team member to bring to work — the foundation of being a consummate, high-output teammate:

  • Trust / Assume Best Intent — Trust allows us to move fast. When we start from trust, we spend no time second-guessing or looking for ulterior motives and thus focus all our energy on acting.

  • High Output, Action Oriented — Our default posture is “yes.” We bias toward action and deliver results quickly, knowing that speed and efficiency compound into impact as we unblock others around us.

  • Divine Discontent — We’re never satisfied with the status quo and are self-motivated to improve ourselves, our work, and our company. We actively seek feedback in real-time to shorten improvement cycles.

  • No Ego, One Team — Collaboration without ego creates leverage. When we win as one team, we eliminate friction and move faster together.

  • Self Accountability — Taking ownership is the straightest line to learning, self-improvement, and correcting our course of action. And blaming others around us is a fast path to destroying trust.

Operating Principles

These are the systems and norms that amplify speed and efficiency at the company level:

  • Edge Innovation — We bias toward action over approval. Experiment, decide, and move — failure is just a step toward faster learning.

  • No Hierarchies — We practice self-prioritization and go direct to the source. Flattening layers reduces drag and maximizes autonomy.

  • Customer Experience First — We optimize for the end-to-end customer outcome, not functional or departmental efficiency. This focus cuts waste, aligns priorities, and ensures we spend effort where it matters most.
