We are looking for an experienced Education Recruiter to join our team and play a key role in sourcing, screening and presenting high-quality education professionals for available positions.

About the Role

As an Education Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging and screening education professionals and matching them with suitable vacancies.

You will work closely with placement managers to understand vacancy requirements, identify suitable candidates and present strong candidate profiles. This is a proactive, target-driven role suited to someone who has a genuine background in education recruitment and understands the education market.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates for current education vacancies using internal databases, job boards, LinkedIn and other online platforms.
  
• Recruit and engage teachers, teaching assistants, SEN staff and other education professionals.
  
• Conduct telephone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, availability and suitability for specific roles.
  
• Work closely with placement managers to understand vacancy requirements and candidate profiles.
  
• Assess candidates' experience, qualifications and skill sets to create strong shortlists.
  
• Write compelling candidate profiles that clearly showcase candidates' experience, strengths and suitability for specific positions.
  
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified education professionals.
  
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  
• Support the placement team with proactive sourcing, screening and candidate profile development.
  
• Take ownership of recruitment activity and consistently work towards achieving and exceeding targets.
  
• Accurately maintain candidate information and recruitment activity within the relevant CRM or recruitment system.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' recent experience specifically within UK education recruitment – this is essential.
  
• Previous UK education recruitment experience is essential.
  
• Experience recruiting within the secondary education sector is highly desirable.
  
• Proven experience recruiting teachers, teaching assistants and SEN staff.
  
• Strong understanding of the education recruitment process and the ability to assess candidates against specific school vacancies.
  
• Proven experience sourcing and engaging candidates proactively.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates.
  
• Strong telephone screening and candidate assessment skills.
  
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  
• Comfortable working towards recruitment targets and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and candidates simultaneously.
  
• Technologically confident, with experience using CRM or recruitment systems.
  
• Experience with HubSpot and/or Zoho Recruit would be advantageous.
  
• Strong written communication skills, particularly when preparing candidate profiles for clients and placement managers.
  

Who We're Looking For

This role is specifically suited to an experienced Education Recruiter who already understands the education recruitment market and can confidently source, screen and engage education professionals.

You should have a strong understanding of UK education recruitment, ideally with experience within the secondary division, and be comfortable recruiting across positions such as teachers, teaching assistants and SEN staff.
