AI Summary

Lead and scale global People Operations, payroll, and total rewards while building a technology- and AI-first operating model. Partner with the Chief People Officer to drive organizational design, workforce planning, and global compliance across Europe, North America, and APJ.

🌀 The Company

Filigran, founded in October 2022, stands out in the cybertech ecosystem for its commitment to revolutionizing cyber threat management with a proactive approach. Its mission is to develop innovative open-source solutions designed to anticipate cyber threats, identify security gaps, and strengthen organizational security posture.

Filigran solutions are now trusted by over 6,000 public and private organizations worldwide.

🎯 The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, globally experienced People leader and builder to help take Filigran’s People organization through its next stage of scale.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll lead our global People Operations, Payroll and Total Rewards capabilities across Europe, North America and APJ.

With ~300 employees across 18 countries, the challenge is not simply to build more People infrastructure — it’s to build smarter infrastructure. You’ll help create a scalable, technology- and AI-first People operating model that combines strong regional execution with effective systems, automation, and agentic AI.

This is a builder and player-coach role. You’ll be expected to challenge how work gets done, simplify before adding complexity, automate before adding headcount, and build the People capabilities Filigran needs to scale toward 1,000+ employees.

💼 Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale global People Operations, building the operating model, team and infrastructure required to support Filigran’s next stage of growth across Europe, North America and APJ.

  • Lead and develop our regional People and Payroll teams, creating clear accountability, strong regional expertise and consistent global execution.

  • Build a technology-, automation- and AI-first People operating model, continuously challenging what work can be eliminated, simplified, systemized, automated or handled by AI before adding human capacity.

  • Design and deploy agentic AI across People workflows, identifying high-value use cases and implementing AI agents that can execute repeatable, multi-step work across areas such as employee support, People insights, manager support, compliance and mobility — with appropriate human ownership, controls and escalation.

  • Own and continuously improve the People technology ecosystem, including HRIS, integrations, workflows, data architecture and AI-enabled tools, ensuring systems work together as scalable infrastructure rather than disconnected solutions.

  • Own global Total Rewards operations, including compensation cycles, benchmarking, benefits, equity administration and vendor management, in partnership with the CPO on strategy.

  • Own global payroll operations, working through internal specialists and external providers to ensure accuracy, controls, and effective multi-country execution.

  • Oversee global employment compliance and mobility, including regional compliance, immigration, EORs and entity-related People requirements, leveraging local experts and counsel where appropriate.

  • Support managers, providing guidance on routine performance, employee relations, workforce matters and organizational change.

  • Use People data and AI-enabled insights to proactively identify organizational trends, risks and opportunities, translating them into practical actions for leaders and the People team.

  • Support organizational design and workforce planning, bringing data, organizational insight and implementation capability to CPO-led decisions.

  • Remain hands-on and execution-oriented, comfortable moving between team leadership, systems and agent design, process improvement and complex operational problem-solving.

🤝 Who You’ll Work With

  • Chief People Officer — partnering closely on People priorities, Total Rewards strategy and the evolution of our global People operating model.

  • People Operations, Payroll and Compliance teams — leading and developing these capabilities globally.

  • Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Employee Experience — partnering across the broader People organization.

  • People Managers, Finance, Legal and IT — partnering on employee matters, payroll, rewards, compliance, systems and global operations.

  • External partners and advisors — including EORs, payroll and benefits providers, employment counsel and mobility partners.

🧬 Profile We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive HR / People experience, with meaningful leadership across both People Operations and Total Rewards.

  • Proven experience helping scale a global B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology company through approximately the 300 → 1,000+ employee stage.

  • Demonstrated experience operating across Europe, North America, and APJ, including multiple entities and EOR populations.

  • Significant experience owning or overseeing global People Operations, payroll, Total Rewards, HRIS, Employee Relations, Compliance and Mobility.

  • Proven experience building People infrastructure for scale, rather than simply operating within mature systems or large specialist COEs.

  • Strong understanding of European employment environments, including experience operating in France or similarly complex jurisdictions.

  • Experience supporting managers and leaders on employee relations, performance and organizational change.

  • Highly technology- and AI-oriented, with demonstrated experience using automation and AI to redesign work, reduce manual effort and increase People team capacity.

  • Experience identifying, designing or deploying AI agents and agentic workflows, with a track record of actively experimenting, building and operationalizing AI-enabled ways of working.

  • Strong systems and data mindset, with the ability to connect HRIS, automation, People analytics and AI into an effective operating model.

  • Commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to connect People decisions to business priorities.

  • Player-coach mentality — senior enough to challenge and partner with leaders, but hands-on enough to build and solve problems directly.

  • Experience in a fast-growing, global, remote-first environment.

  • Fluent in English and French; another European language is a plus.
