AI Summary

The Director of Tax will lead worldwide tax reporting, ASC 740 provisions, and US federal tax compliance while shaping the company's global tax strategy. This role involves managing tax audits, mentoring a high-performing team, and partnering with executive leadership to optimize the company's global tax position.

We are looking for a Director of Federal Tax that will serve as the leader of DDN’s consolidated tax reporting, US compliance, and planning functions. This role oversees the worldwide ASC 740 income tax provision, consolidated US federal income tax return, and key US international tax matters including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credits, and strategic tax planning initiatives.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role at a pivotal stage in DDN’s continued growth and evolution. As a global leader in AI, data intelligence, and high-performance computing infrastructure, DDN operates in an increasingly complex and dynamic tax environment, creating a unique platform for a tax leader to drive meaningful business impact.

Reporting directly to the VP of Tax and embedded within the global finance organization, you will play a central role in shaping the Company’s tax strategy, reporting processes, and compliance framework. You will partner closely with executive leadership, finance, legal, treasury, FP&A, and external advisors to manage risk, optimize DDN’s global tax position, and support strategic business initiatives.

This is more than a compliance role. It is an opportunity to influence the future of the tax function, develop a high-performing US-based team, modernize processes, and help guide tax strategy for a rapidly growing global technology company.

You’ll be joining an organization where tax is viewed as a strategic business partner, with the opportunity to combine technical excellence, leadership, and commercial thinking to create long-term value across the enterprise.
