The Director of Quality Assurance oversees organizational processes and systems to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and authorizer regulations. They conduct internal audits, monitor key performance indicators, and provide strategic recommendations to improve operational efficacy and school integration.
Director of Quality Assurance
Role Mission:
The mission of the Director of Quality Assurance is to support the execution and oversight of Chief Area processes, procedures, and systems to ensure we are in full compliance with all federal, state, and authorizer regulations, policies, and statutes. This position will conduct consistent monitoring and auditing of key data points and documentation to identify any gaps in execution or compliance as well as opportunities to improve efficacy and efficiencies by working with all departments. The Director of Quality Assurance will provide additional capacity to support the continuous improvement process and also work with key stakeholders from other Chief Areas to provide strategic recommendations. The role will also partner closely with our Internal Auditors under the Governing/Executive Team to assist with all internal audits. This position will report directly to the Assurance and Support Officer for assignment, planning, and execution of their duties.

Location:
This is a full-time remote position based in Texas. Candidate must be willing to travel to regions with identified needs at least monthly.
Travel Expectations:
In year 1, some time (2 times a month) will be expected to be on site at IDEA Yellowstone, in Houston, in addition to some travel for team meetings.
This role works remotely when not traveling.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $108,100 and $128,600, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
