Your Role:

As the Director, you will  supports the implementation and use of dashboards, contributes to federal reporting (including PIR and FMR), monitors key performance indicators, and responds to data requests from local leadership teams across assigned delegates. While based within the delegate structure, the Director, Analysis is aligned to the centralized Data & Performance function and ensures that all data work adheres to Aceleroʼs standards for quality, consistency, and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a strategic data partner to Delegate Vice Presidents and leadership teams, translating centralized data dashboards and tools into local insights and actions.
  • Provide business intelligence and advanced data analysis to support data-informed decision-making at the delegate level.
  • Analyze key metrics related to enrollment, attendance, screenings, family engagement, education,health, etc. surfacing trends that inform planning and performance conversations.
  • Analyze and interpret delegate progress toward school readiness goals, child outcome data, and family engagement metrics to support programmatic decision-making and planning.
  • Contribute to each delegateʼs annual planning cycle by providing data insights and summaries to inform goal-setting, service area priorities, and program strategies.
  • Provide timely responses to ad hoc data and analysis requests from leadership, service area leads, and program managers.
  • Create visual summaries, presentation-ready charts, and written insights to support local decision-making, board presentations, and internal data reviews.
  • Contribute to delegate-level or organization-wide research and strategic initiatives by analyzing trends, compiling data sets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate insights.
  • Deliver ongoing training and coaching to delegate staff on understanding, interpreting, and using data and business intelligence tools effectively.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting in support of Head Start Program Performance Standards and local licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with the centralized data team to ensure readiness and accuracy of data submissions for the Program Information Report (PIR), Federal Monitoring Review (FMR), and other required reports.
  • Support the completion of the annual Self-Assessment and CEEDS-related activities across assigned delegates, including data collection, documentation, audits, upload support, and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Data & Performance, and Manager of Data Design & Reporting to support the design, development, and refinement of standardized dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet both compliance and operational needs based on delegate priorities and policy changes.
  • Support implementation and training on tools and resources.
  • Ensure ongoing usage and understanding of dashboards by local teams, providing coaching, clarification, and hands-on technical support as needed.
  • Promote data literacy by guiding staff in integrating data use into planning, coaching, and monitoring.
  • Build delegate capacity through data coaching and professional development focused on business intelligence and performance improvement.
  • Lead local data quality efforts by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all delegate-level data. Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with local teams and escalate systemic issues to the centralized Data & Performance team.
  • Conduct routine data audits of delegate-level data systems and reporting processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with organizational standards.
  • Ensure local data practices (data entry, tracking, and analysis) align with organizational governance standards.
  • Support the standardization of delegate-level reporting and monitoring tools by reviewing local practices, aligning them with centralized definitions and templates, and communicating needs for tool refinement or consolidation to the centralized Data & Performance team.
  • Ensure adherence to—and contribute to—the standardization of reporting definitions, tools, and practices across delegates.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of reporting and monitoring tools by identifying delegate-level challenges, proposing enhancements, and collaborating with centralized data and compliance teams to inform updates.
  • Join project teams tasked with designing, refining, and implementing tools and dashboards that serve both compliance and operational decision-making across the network.
  • Work directly with local leadership teams across assigned delegates and Directors of Monitoring & Compliance to align performance data with safety, licensing, and risk mitigation priorities.
  • Partner with the PIIS team to support coaching, technical assistance, and implementation tracking through the effective use of data tools.
  • Attend planning, compliance, and leadership meetings at each assigned delegate to ensure data is embedded into decision-making at every level.
  • Support local data-informed decision-making routines and leadership team meetings where performance metrics are reviewed and actions are tracked.
  • Maintain a service-oriented mindset, supporting data needs with timeliness, clarity, and alignment to delegate priorities.
  • Participate in assigned meetings, events and training as required.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelorʼs degree in data analytics, education policy, social sciences, or a related field required; Masterʼs degree is a strong asset.

  •  Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in data analysis, program evaluation, or performance management.

  • Experience using Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).

  • Head Start, K-12, or social services experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience providing training or coaching on data use, analytics, or business intelligence tools.

  • Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.

  • Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.

When: Summer 2026

Where: Remote with 10% travel

How Much: This positions pays up to $80,000 + comprehensive benefits package
