We are currently seeking a Digital Partner Development Manager based in Japan to support partner ecosystem through partner enablement, business development, pipeline growth, and sales acceleration initiatives.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building strong partner relationships, driving revenue growth, and helping technology partners succeed.


Position Summary

The Digital Partner Development Program Manager will provide pre-sales and post-sales support to assigned partners through a Digital Sales framework. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, pipeline development, partner readiness, and business performance while serving as a trusted advisor to partners across Japan.

The successful candidate will work closely with partners to increase product adoption, accelerate deal progression, improve partner capabilities, and support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned partner accounts and maintain regular engagement.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with partner executives and key stakeholders.
  • Drive monthly revenue and unit targets through partner engagement and sales support activities.
  • Provide sales and business development guidance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop strategic account plans aligned with partner and business objectives.
  • Support partner readiness for Microsoft products, licensing, incentives, programs, and training.
  • Deliver consistent pre-sales and post-sales support to assigned partners.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Microsoft tools, programs, and processes.
  • Assist partners in solution readiness for Microsoft offerings, including AI solutions, Copilot, and related technologies.
  • Accelerate sales through active pipeline management, deal progression, forecasting, and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct partner performance reviews and recommend actions to improve growth and profitability.
  • Guide partners through available resources, incentives, and business programs.
  • Monitor market trends and provide strategic recommendations to partners.
  • Compare and position Microsoft solutions against competing technologies.
  • Train partner stakeholders on tools, operational processes, and self-service resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, opportunities, and activities within CRM systems.
  • Escalate issues and help resolve technical or business roadblocks impacting partner success.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in partner management, channel sales, account management, business development, inside sales, or related roles within the technology industry.
  • Experience working with partners, distributors, resellers, retailers, OEMs, or channel organizations.
  • Experience managing revenue targets, sales quotas, pipeline development, or forecasting activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft solutions, products, licensing, partner programs, or cloud technologies.
  • Experience working with CRM systems.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Native Japanese language skills.
  • Currently based in Japan.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Microsoft or within the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Copilot, licensing programs, or AI solutions.
  • Experience supporting OEMs, hardware manufacturers, distributors, or channel partners.
  • IoT account management, business development, or channel experience.
  • Knowledge of gaming industry business models.
  • Understanding of public sector procurement or tender processes.
  • MBA or postgraduate specialization in Business, Management, or related disciplines
