Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and configuring new software, hardware and operating systems.
- Updating and maintaining Citrix app and desktop virtualization environment.
- Applying cybersecurity measures and patches protecting the Firm's sensitive data from external threats.
- Maintaining software licenses.
- Monitoring system performance and making recommendations for improvements.
- Resolving technical issues over the phone or through email. You will also be responsible for logging incidents in a ticketing system and escalating issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Collaborating with other members of the IT team to develop and implement new technologies.
Requirements
- Five years of law firm experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred.
- CompTIA A+ certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
- Experience building, deploying, publishing and updating Citrix Virtual Desktops.
- Familiarity with typical applications and services in the legal vertical.
- Experience managing user profiles in a virtual desktop environment.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software and operating systems.
- Experience in managing server and desktop operating systems along with associated services, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Email.
