Responsibilities:

  • Installing, maintaining and configuring new software, hardware and operating systems.
  • Updating and maintaining Citrix app and desktop virtualization environment.
  • Applying cybersecurity measures and patches protecting the Firm's sensitive data from external threats.
  • Maintaining software licenses.
  • Monitoring system performance and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Resolving technical issues over the phone or through email. You will also be responsible for logging incidents in a ticketing system and escalating issues to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Collaborating with other members of the IT team to develop and implement new technologies.

Requirements

  • Five years of law firm experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
  • Experience building, deploying, publishing and updating Citrix Virtual Desktops.
  • Familiarity with typical applications and services in the legal vertical.
  • Experience managing user profiles in a virtual desktop environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software and operating systems.
  • Experience in managing server and desktop operating systems along with associated services, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Email.
