The Data Governance Analyst I’s primary responsibility is supporting the integrity, quality, and usability of enterprise data across systems and business functions.

Role And Responsibilities• Support data governance initiatives related to data quality, standardization, and documentation
• Assist in validating and profiling datasets to identify data quality issues and inconsistencies
• Help maintain data definitions, data dictionaries, and metadata documentation
• Partner with team members to understand business requirements and support basic data mapping
• efforts
• Execute predefined data quality checks and assist in resolving data discrepancies
• Support data migration and integration activities through documentation and validation tasks
• Use SQL to query and validate data under guidance from senior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure adherence to data governance standards
• Document processes, workflows, and data-related procedures clearly and accurately
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to strengthen data governance processes
Qualifications• Foundational knowledge in data governance and quality management
• Basic Experience in gathering requirements and analyzing processes for improvement
• Experience in systems engineering and integration
• Basic experience with SQL, DataBricks and/or database expertise
• Basic Experience in writing technical documentation
• Ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
Mental And Physical Demands• This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work in or around
computers and printers.
• The nature of the work is sedentary, and the employee will be sitting most of the time.
