Position Summary
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining information across company databases and systems. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Database Management
- Enter and update information into company databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
- Verify data accuracy before entering records.
- Review source documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain electronic files and records according to company procedures.
- Organize and manage large volumes of information efficiently.
Data Verification & Quality Control
- Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and correct errors, discrepancies, and duplicate records.
- Validate information against source documents and databases.
- Ensure compliance with company data management standards.
Record Maintenance
- Update customer, vendor, employee, and operational records as needed.
- Archive and retrieve electronic records.
- Maintain confidential files and sensitive information.
- Ensure records remain current and accessible.
Reporting & Documentation
- Generate routine reports and summaries from databases.
- Assist with preparing operational and administrative reports.
- Track data trends and report inconsistencies to management.
- Support departmental documentation projects.
Administrative Support
- Assist various departments with data-related tasks.
- Process forms, applications, and documentation.
- Support workflow improvement initiatives.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
Compliance & Confidentiality
- Handle sensitive business information with confidentiality.
- Follow company policies regarding data protection and privacy.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
- Ensure secure handling of electronic records.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of data entry, administrative support, clerical, or office experience.
- Excellent typing and keyboarding skills.
