You will manage inbound and outbound customer communications regarding orders, deliveries, and account status while maintaining accurate records in the company system. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between internal departments and provide administrative support to the Australian office.
An established Australian business is adding a dedicated customer service team member in the Philippines. You'll work alongside the current customer service lead, answering customer calls, keeping orders accurate and following up on accounts. It's a customer-facing role: not a pure call-centre seat and not back-office data entry, but a mix that keeps your day varied.
Answer inbound calls (around 15–20 a day) about order status, product availability, deliveries and account questions, and make every customer feel acknowledged
Make proactive follow-up calls to existing customers about orders, backorders, deliveries and overdue accounts, using a mix of approved scripts and natural conversation
Enter manual orders from phone, email and order forms, checking details before they go through and clarifying anything unclear with the customer
Politely follow up on payments from an approved call list, and record every outcome clearly
Log everything in shared systems so calls, notes and next steps are visible to the team
Be the link between customer service, Operations, Finance and the commercial team, handing matters over with complete facts
Support the Australian office with basic reports, filing and admin as needed
3+ years' experience in customer service, sales support, order entry or call-based B2B administration
Excellent spoken and written English, with a clear, confident phone manner
Experience with inbound and outbound customer calls
Strong order-entry accuracy: product codes, quantities, addresses, special instructions
Experience with an order-management, ERP or accounting system. Any system is fine; we'll train you on ours
Comfort contacting customers to ask for a payment update. You don't need a collections background
Confidence with Outlook, Excel, shared folders and Teams
A home-office set-up with reliable high-speed internet, a quality headset and a quiet space
Availability to work Monday–Friday on Australian business hours
Experience supporting Australian, NZ, UK or US wholesale or distribution customers
Background in consumer products, wholesale, distribution or a multi-SKU business
Experience with Unleashed, SAP Business One, Xero, MYOB, NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics
Full-time, work-from-home, Monday to Friday
Real ownership: be the dependable first contact for a loyal customer base
Learn as you grow: the products and processes are taught, and responsibility grows with you
Close support: work alongside an experienced customer service lead with direct access to management
